How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

27 Double Fruits Overview

27 Double Fruits is a compact three-reel, three-row fruit slot from Redstone, one of the studios behind the Fazi catalogue. Instead of paylines it uses 27 ways to win, and it was released on 22 November 2024 with a stake range of 0.50 to 50 per spin.

The studio does not publish an RTP, a volatility rating or a maximum win for this title, so the numbers in this review come from the game itself. All amounts below were recorded in the demo, which plays in FUN units, at the top stake of 50.00.

Every Symbol Comes in Pairs

The name is literal. Each position on the 3x3 grid shows its symbol twice over: two cherries, two plums, two oranges, two slices of watermelon, a pair of golden bells, two stacked BAR bars, a pair of pink stars and a pair of blue stars. The top symbol is a triple 777 in deep red and gold.

The grid sits in a gold frame on a warm orange and violet background, and every winning position lights up with a gold border. Three jackpot counters run along the top of the screen, marked with a diamond, a gold bar and a silver bar.

The interface is kept to a minimum. Balance and stake sit in two small boxes at the bottom left, the win appears in large gold digits under the grid, and an Auto button sits beside the round spin button on the right. The side menu opens the paytable together with the Info, Settings and History pages, so the round history can be checked after a session without leaving the game.

How 27 Ways Work

With three reels of three rows, there are 3 × 3 × 3 = 27 possible paths from left to right. A win needs the same symbol on all three reels, in any row, and every combination of positions counts as its own way.

That arithmetic is easy to check in the demo. A spin with one pair of cherries on the first reel and two each on the second and third paid 400.00 – four ways at 100 each. Another, with cherries in two, three and two positions, paid 1,200.00 – twelve ways, again at 100 each.

The same rule makes stacked positions valuable. Pink stars on one position of the first reel, one of the second and two of the third paid 1,600.00, exactly twice the single-way prize of 800.

The Paytable

The game lists its prizes for three of a kind at the current stake. At 50.00, one way of 777 pays 3,000, which is 60x the stake. The bells pay 2,000 (40x), the BAR symbol 1,000 (20x), and both the pink stars and the blue stars pay 800 (16x).

The four fruits – watermelon, plum, orange and cherries – all pay the same 100, or 2x the stake. The gap between them and the stars is steep: a single way of stars is worth eight ways of fruit.

A single BAR way paid 1,000.00 in our session, and a single pink-star way paid 800.00, both exactly as the table states.

What a Full Screen Would Pay

Because the ways multiply, the ceiling of the base game is easy to work out even though the studio does not publish one. If all nine positions showed 777, every one of the 27 ways would pay 3,000, for 81,000 in total – 1,620x the stake. That figure is our own calculation from the paytable, not an official maximum win, and it leaves out the jackpots.

The Three Progressive Jackpots

The jackpot counters climbed steadily as we played. The diamond jackpot rose from 17,169.84 to 17,284.70 over our session, the gold bar jackpot from 2,335.88 to 2,427.76, and the silver bar jackpot from 267.93 to 313.88.

The screenshots do not show how a jackpot is triggered, and the game did not award one while we played, so we cannot say what it takes to win one.

Who Should Play It

27 Double Fruits is about as simple as a modern slot gets: nine positions, one rule for wins and a short paytable. There are no free spins, and we saw no wild on the reels. The appeal is the ways system, which lets a screen with repeated symbols pay many times at once, and the three growing jackpots above the grid.

The missing RTP and volatility figures are the main drawback, so the game is best treated as a light, fast fruit machine rather than one to study.
