81 Double Magic Overview

81 Double Magic is a classic fruit slot from the Redstone studio, released under the Foxi (Fazi) brand on 15 October 2024. How the 81 Ways Work

The rules page explains the system with two small diagrams. Wins pay for matching symbols in any position on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, so a cherry on the top row of reel 1 connects with a cherry on the bottom row of reel 2. Only the longest combination per way is paid, and all way wins are added together.

That last point matters most: when a symbol appears twice or three times on the same reel, every copy multiplies the number of ways. The biggest results in our session all came from stacked symbols rather than from rare ones.

The Paytable

With only four reels, the game pays for three or four of a kind. At a 20 FUN stake the red seven tops the table at 8,000 FUN for four (400x) and 800 for three. The golden bell pays 1,000 and 200, grapes 500 and 120, strawberries 300 and 80, watermelons 200 and 60. Plums and oranges share 160 and 40, and cherries and lemons share 80 and 20.

The blue star is the scatter, and its value is not fixed: four stars pay between 80 and 8,000 FUN, three stars between 20 and 800.

Stacked Wins in Practice

Our captures show the ways system clearly. Three watermelons on reel 1, one on reel 2 and one on reel 3 made three ways of three and paid 180 FUN – exactly 3 × 60. A single bell on each of the first three reels paid the table value of 200 FUN.

The best result came from watermelons stacked on reels 2 and 3: one on reel 1, three on reel 2 and three on reel 3 made 1 × 3 × 3 = 9 ways, and the spin paid 540 FUN – nine times the 60 FUN value, or 27x the stake. Four cherries across the first three reels, meanwhile, returned 40 FUN from two ways.

Three Progressive Jackpots

A bar above the reels shows three jackpots – diamond, gold and silver. During our session the diamond stood at about 1,670 and rose to 1,722, the gold at about 17,090 and rose to 17,152, and the silver climbed from 235 to 261. The game does not explain on screen how the jackpots are won, and none of them dropped in our session.

Ways Versus Lines

The 81-ways system changes how a fruit slot feels. On a classic five-line machine a symbol has to sit on one of a few fixed paths; here any position on the next reel continues the combination. Three matching symbols on each of the first three reels already make 27 ways, and with a fourth reel the count multiplies again.

Because the paytable values are paid per way, a stacked reel is worth far more than a single high symbol. Nine ways of watermelons (540 FUN) paid more than a single way of bells (200 FUN), even though the bell sits higher in the table.

Reading the Screen

The balance and the stake sit in the bottom-left corner, the jackpot bar across the top, and the spin and AUTO buttons on the right. Winning symbols are framed in gold, and the win amount appears in large gold digits across the bottom of the reels, so every result in our captures can be checked against the paytable.
