Aztec's Claw Wild Dice Overview

Aztec's Claw Wild Dice is a jungle-temple slot from BGaming, played on a 5x5 grid with 20 paylines. The theoretical RTP is 96.10%, the volatility is rated medium, and the maximum win is 6,000x the bet. It was released on 26 September 2024.

The "Wild Dice" in the name refers to the multiplier wilds: red dice-style blocks marked WILD with a multiplier underneath. Around them the game adds two optional side bets and a bought bonus called the Claw Game.

A Stepped Temple in the Rainforest

The reels are set into a carved stone frame in front of a stepped Aztec pyramid, with a golden sun mask on its summit and waterfalls falling through the rainforest on both sides. Stone totems flank the grid, and the logo sits on the temple steps above the reels.

The premium symbols are carved masks and faces: a teal jaguar mask, a golden jaguar head, a purple sun-stone disc and a crowned Aztec princess. The low symbols are the card royals A, K, Q and J in stone-green lettering.

The layout is BGaming's usual one: total bet and balance in the bottom bar, the win meter on the right, and the side-bet toggles and Buy Bonus button stacked on the left edge of the screen.

Multiplier Wilds

The red WILD blocks substitute on the lines and carry their own multiplier. In our captures we saw values of x2, x3, x5 and x6, and several of them could appear on the grid at once.

The effect on line wins is easy to see. On an 8.00 bet, a line through a x2 wild paid 11.20, a line through a x6 wild paid 24.00, and a princess line through a x3 wild paid 28.00 – 3.5x the stake from a single line.

When the wilds cluster, the numbers climb quickly. One of our spins at an 80.00 bet had five wilds on the grid, including x2, x5 and a second x2, surrounded by jaguar masks and princesses, and the total win came to 313.60.

The wilds only substitute for line symbols; they do not appear to count as a symbol of their own on the lines we saw, so their value comes entirely from the multiplier they carry. A x6 wild on a line of low card symbols can be worth more than a premium line with no wild at all.

The Two Side Bets

On the left of the screen are two optional extras. The Bonus Bet raises the chance of triggering the bonus, and the Wild Bet raises the frequency of wilds. Each shows its extra cost next to a simple on/off switch; at the 8.00 stake the panels read +8.00 and +32.00.

The game's rules list a separate RTP for each mode. The base game is 96.10%, and the RTP when using the Wild Bet is 96.01%, with similar figures listed for the Bonus Bet and the Buy Bonus. The differences are small, so the choice is about volatility rather than return.

The extra cost scales with the stake. At a 32.00 total bet the same panels read +16.00 for the Bonus Bet and +64.00 for the Wild Bet, so the Wild Bet is by far the more expensive of the two options – it is designed to change how the base game plays rather than to act as a cheap add-on.

The Claw Game

The Buy Bonus button opens the Buy Claw Game screen. At an 8.00 bet the price shown was 640.00, which is 80x the stake.

The rules describe the bonus round in terms of Cube Wins: to calculate a win in the bonus game, the Cube Win is the initial bet multiplied by a Cube Value, and a successful Side Quest applies a further multiplier or adds a jackpot win to the Cube Win. We did not play the round through in our session, so we describe it as the rules present it.

The 6,000x Cap

The maximum win is a hard cap. The rules state that the maximum win amount is limited to 6,000x the bet: if the total win of a round reaches that figure, the round ends immediately, the win is awarded up to the cap, and any remaining features are forfeited.

The rules also note that simultaneous and coinciding wins are added together and paid, and that a malfunction voids all pays and plays – standard BGaming terms.

Wins in Practice

Most base-game wins in our session were small: 3.20 on a 32.00 bet for a line of Qs, and 11.20 and 24.00 on an 8.00 bet with a single wild each. The bigger results came from spins with several wilds, such as the 34.40 total on an 8.00 bet and the 313.60 at the higher stake.

That pattern fits a medium-volatility game: steady small line wins, with the multiplier wilds responsible for the occasional larger spin.

The premium faces also stack in columns, as our captures show with the teal jaguar masks filling the top row and the princess repeating down the middle reels. On a 5x5 grid with 20 lines, those stacks connect several lines at once, which is how a single spin can combine three or four separate line wins.

Paylines

The 20 lines are fixed and are shown as small grid diagrams in the rules. Wins pay from left to right, and the footer names the line and its payout for every win, for example "Line 11 pays 28.00".

Who Should Play It
