Battle Loot: Hold and Win is a dwarven treasure slot from Mascot Gaming, released on 4 May 2026. Deep In The Dwarven Mines

The reels are carved into a stone wall deep underground. Glowing blue crystals grow in the corners of the cave, iron chains and small lanterns hang on the right, and a heap of gold coins and red gems sits on top of the grid. Stone pillars with blue light run down both sides of the reels, and the “Battle Loot – Hold and Win” logo in the top left is framed with gold and crystals.

The four premium symbols are dwarves, each with a different look: a white-bearded elder with a pink hood, a black-bearded warrior with an eyepatch and a skull on his helmet, a blond dwarf in a horned blue helmet and a red-bearded fighter with a green hood and an eyepatch. The low symbols are A, K, Q and J on stone tablets. The wild says WILD in gold letters, and the scatter is a sack full of gold coins.

Winning symbols freeze in icy blue frames, and the win for each line is shown on the grid and in a small panel below it – for example “3x J pays 20”. The spin button on the right has a “Hold to turbo” ring, with round Risk and Buy buttons underneath.

The Paytable

At a bet of 40, the white-bearded elder pays 7,000 for five (175x), 500 for four, 60 for three and even 8 for two. The black-bearded warrior pays 4,000, 400 and 50, the blond dwarf 2,000, 200 and 30, and the red-bearded fighter 800, 100 and 24. All four letters pay the same: 400, 60 and 20.

The gap between four and five of a kind is enormous at the top: the elder pays 14 times more for five than for four. That is a clear sign of high volatility – most line wins are small, like the 20 for three Js in our screenshot, and the big line hits need a full row of dwarves.

Our base game screenshots show that pattern. Over a handful of spins at a bet of 40, the win counters showed 20, 35.10 and 56.94 – small line wins with letters and dwarves – while the balance slipped from 9,880 to 9,280. Nothing was wrong with those spins; it is simply how a high-volatility slot with a steep paytable behaves until a feature lands.

Four Jackpots

The jackpot plaques on the left read Grand 100,000, Major 4,000, Minor 1,200 and Mini 600 at a bet of 40. That is 2,500x, 100x, 30x and 15x the bet. The Grand is 25 times larger than the Major, and it matches the game’s published maximum win of 2,500x.

Hold And Win

When enough coins land, they lock in place and the rest of the grid turns into dark empty stone. A counter below the reels with the numbers 1, 2 and 3 shows the respins, and each new coin resets it back to three. In our round seven coins were on the grid: four worth 400, one 200, one 100 and one 40. On a bet of 40 that is 10x, 5x, 2.5x and 1x, or 2,040 in total – 51x the bet – with eight positions still open.

The Risk Gamble

After a win you can press Risk to gamble it. The screen fills with fifteen face-down cards showing crossed axes, and one card is turned over for the dealer. The rule at the top says: “To get an X2 multiplier, guess a card higher than the dealer’s choice”. You then pick one of the other cards.

In our first gamble the dealer showed a 2 of hearts on a 40 win, with a possible win of 80. There is a catch worth knowing: a second screenshot adds the note “Card 2 is higher than Ace!”, so a dealer 2 is in fact the hardest card to beat. That second gamble was several steps further: the multiplier had grown to X3, the current win was 320 and the possible win was 960. The cards already turned over show the history – a jack, a 4 and another jack marked WIN, and a 9, an 8, a 2 and a 7 marked DEALER. You can collect at any step with the button on the right.
