Beastbound Love Overview

Beastbound Love is a dark fairy tale slot from Hacksaw Gaming, released on 28 August 2026. The story is inspired by Beauty and the Beast: a cursed Beast and a brave heroine are bound together by ancient magic, and their connection unlocks wild effects on the reels.

The game plays on an unusual 3-5-5-5-3 grid with 1,125 ways to win. Five vertical reels hold three symbols each, and two extra horizontal reels sit above and below reels 2, 3 and 4, also with three symbols each. Wins are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, and every position of both reel types counts.

The RTP is 96.32% (lower versions exist), the volatility is high, and the max win is 10,000x the bet, which can be reached in the bonus game. Bets range from 0.10 to 100 per spin.

Theme and Graphics

The grid stands in a freezing winter forest full of snowy pine trees. Heavy stone pillars frame the reels, with golden beast heads on top. The low symbols are coloured gems with card suits, the middle symbols are items such as a gold ring and a hand mirror, and the top symbols are the heroine and the horned Beast. The pink, green and gold jewel colours stand out sharply against the cold blue background.

Symbols and Paytable

The paytable shows wins for 3, 4 and 5 of a kind. In the demo, the values for the five gems (spade, diamond, heart, blue gem and club) were 5, 10 and 15, the gold ring and the hand mirror paid 15, 25 and 40, the heroine 15, 40 and 50, and the Beast is the top symbol with 25, 50 and 125. So five Beasts pay more than eight times as much as five gems. Since the game counts ways, the same symbol on several positions of a reel multiplies the number of winning ways.

The golden rose Scatter appears exclusively on the horizontal reels and only in the base game, so the top and bottom rows decide whether the bonus comes.

Cascades

Every win triggers a cascade. Winning symbols are removed, and on the vertical reels new symbols drop in from above. On the horizontal reels the symbols shift to the left and new ones enter from the right. Cascades continue as long as new wins appear, so one spin can pay several times.

Bound Wild and Beastbound Wilds

The game has four Wild symbols. The Bound Wild substitutes for all paying symbols and appears only on vertical reels 2, 3 and 4 – either landing naturally or placed by the other Wilds.

The three Beastbound Wilds appear only on the horizontal reels. Each one carries 1 to 3 marks, and the number of active marks sets the strength of its effect:

• Beast of Fate (blue): places as many Bound Wilds on random positions of reels 2, 3 and 4 as it has active marks,
• Beast of Devotion (green): places Bound Wilds on the vertical reel directly above or below its position, based on its marks,
• Beast of Heart (red): stays on the grid through cascades and can be part of several wins. Each win uses one mark, and when only one mark is left, it is removed like a normal symbol.

If the Beast of Devotion and the Beast of Fate land in the same round, the Devotion effect is applied first, then the Fate effect.

Wild Oath Bonus

The free spins round is called the Wild Oath Bonus. It is triggered by the golden rose FS Scatter symbols in the base game:

• 5 Scatters: 20 free spins,
• 6 Scatters: 25 free spins.

The free spins follow the base game rules with one big change: every Beastbound Wild now lands with a multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x. These values are collected into a meter and applied to every win. New multipliers that land during cascades are added to the total, but the meter resets at the start of each free spin.
