Blood Rebels Overview

Blood Rebels is a five-reel, four-row slot developed by Bullshark Games and released through Hacksaw Gaming. It has 20 paylines, an RTP of 96.26%, a medium volatility rating and a maximum win of 12,000x the bet. It was released on 21 August 2026.

It is a darker game than Bullshark usually makes. Instead of cartoon animals, the studio has gone for a city in open revolt, two brothers leading the riot, and a set of symbols that reads like a list of street weapons.

A City on Fire

The reels sit in a scorched metal frame in the middle of a burning street. On the left stand the two rebel brothers, one tattooed with a baseball bat over his shoulder, the other bald with bandaged fists. On the right a wrecked car burns beside a wall sprayed with the word REVOL, and flames climb the buildings behind it.

The low symbols are the royals from 10 to A, painted in orange graffiti strokes, with an anarchy sign standing in for the ace. The high symbols are a gold tooth, brass knuckles, a crowbar, a lighter and a Molotov cocktail. The wild is a flaming skull in a gas mask, and the scatter is a riot police officer.

The Paytable

At a €5 bet the Molotov cocktail pays 50.00 for five on a line (10x), 25.00 for four and 10.00 for three. The lighter and crowbar pay 30.00 for five, and the tooth and knuckles pay 15.00.

The royals are flat: 7.50 for five aces, 6.00 for five kings or queens and 5.00 for five jacks or tens, with every one of them paying 0.50 for three. The paytable on its own is modest; the game’s value comes from turning those cheap royals into wilds.

Single Flip and Mass Flip

That is the job of the two Flip symbols, which can land in the base game and the bonus rounds alike.

A Single Flip picks one low-paying symbol type at random and turns every instance of it on the grid into a wild before wins are counted. The Flip itself becomes a wild too. Up to five Single Flips can land on one spin, each converting a different royal. The game notes that a Flip can choose a royal that is not on the grid at all, in which case it simply becomes a wild itself.

A Mass Flip, shown as the tattooed brother with his bat, converts all low-paying symbols at once. Only one can land per spin, and never together with a Single Flip.

The two brothers explain the split. The Single Flip is a targeted strike that removes one royal from the equation, while the Mass Flip clears every royal from the grid at once and leaves only the weapons and wilds to form lines. On a 20-line game with five royals, a Mass Flip can turn a dead board into a full screen of wins.

The Global Multiplier

Both Flip symbols can also reveal a multiplier, added to the global multiplier shown above the reels before wins are calculated. The possible values are 1x to 10x in single steps, then 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 100x.

The global multiplier starts at 1x and applies to every win. In the base game it resets with each new spin, so a Flip only helps the spin it lands on. In one base-game spin we saw it reach 4x, with a column of wilds turning a row of anarchy signs and lighters into a 230.00 win.

Breaking Curfew

Three scatters trigger Breaking Curfew with 8 free spins, and four scatters give 10. Every extra scatter during the round adds one more spin.

The difference from the base game is that the global multiplier becomes progressive: it no longer resets, so every multiplier revealed by a Flip is added to a running total that lasts until the round ends. The longer the round, the more each wild is worth.

Total Anarchy

Five scatters trigger Total Anarchy, which also awards 10 free spins and keeps the progressive multiplier. On top of that, sticky wilds can land on regular spins and stay locked in place until the end of the round. Flip symbols cannot create sticky wilds; they have to land on their own.

We bought the round and watched the multiplier climb to 7x. One spin with five wilds across the first three reels paid 105.00, another paid 143.50, and the round closed at a total of €1,034.50, just over the price we had paid for it.

In an earlier free spins round we watched the progressive multiplier move from 3x to 5x, with wins of 75.00 and 50.00 from wild-heavy boards. Those are the spins that show why the multiplier matters: the same board in the base game would have paid a fraction of that.
