Crystal Hold Overview

Crystal Hold is a classic fruit-and-gems slot from Inbet Games, added to the studio’s catalogue on 25 August 2026. It runs on 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 paylines, and it keeps the formula simple: a diamond wild, a crown scatter, ten free spins and a card gamble after every win. The twist that gives the game its name comes in the bonus round, where every wild that drops onto the reels is held in place until the free spins are over.

Inbet does not publish an RTP, a volatility rating or a maximum win for this title, so we do not quote any. Everything below comes from the game’s own paytable, rules screens and the rounds we played in the demo.

Theme and Presentation

The reels float in front of a violet city skyline at dusk, framed by a strip of marquee lights. Every symbol is drawn as a faceted crystal: glassy cherries-style fruit, a golden bell, a horseshoe, and a row of cut gemstones. The logo at the top swaps the letter “o” in “Hold” for a sparkling diamond, which is also the wild. Wins are announced with large gold numbers in the middle of the grid and a counter such as “WIN ON 6 LINES” on the message bar.

Reels, Lines and Bet

All of our screenshots were taken at 20 lines and a bet of 1.00, and the paytable values below are shown for that bet. The rules state that the paytable always shows amounts for the currently selected bet, so the figures scale up and down with your stake. Wins pay from left to right on the selected lines, only the highest win per line is paid, and scatter wins are added on top of line wins.

The Paytable

Read at a bet of 1.00, the symbol values are:

  • Red 7: 50.00 for five, 25.00 for four, 2.50 for three.
  • Bell and horseshoe: 25.00 / 4.00 / 2.00.
  • Grapes and plum: 20.00 / 2.50 / 1.50.
  • Lemon and orange: 15.00 / 2.00 / 1.00.
  • Pink heart and blue gem: 10.00 / 1.25 / 0.75.
  • Red, green and purple crystals: 5.00 / 1.00 / 0.50.

The 7 is the clear premium: a full line of five pays 50x the bet. The step from four to five is steep across the board, so most of the value in the base game sits in five-of-a-kind lines, while three-of-a-kind hits mostly return part of the stake.

The Diamond Wild

The blue diamond marked WILD replaces every symbol except the scatter. It lands in the base game as a single symbol and joins lines of any kind. In our second screenshot a wild between two red 7s completed a three-symbol 7 line for 2.50, and another round used two wilds side by side on the bottom row to pay 2.00 on four lines at once.

Crown Scatter and Free Spins

The crown marked FREESPINS is the scatter. It pays anywhere on the screen – 100.00 for five, 10.00 for four and 2.00 for three at a 1.00 bet – and three, four or five crowns award 10 free spins.

This is where the “Hold” in the name comes from. The game’s feature screen states that during free spins, the dropped WILD symbols remain on the reel until the end of the free spins. Each wild that lands therefore stays for every remaining spin of the round, so the grid fills up with diamonds as the bonus goes on, and later spins have more wilds to build lines around than the early ones.

Our Base-Game Wins

At a bet of 1.00 the demo gave us a good spread of line hits:

  • 12.00 on 6 lines – a block of golden bells across the left side of the grid, the best base-game result in our session at 12x the bet.
  • 3.00 on 3 lines – lemons stacked on the first reel.
  • 3.00 on 2 lines – blue grapes, and in another round plums joined by a wild.
  • 2.50 – two 7s and a wild.
  • 1.25 – two pink hearts completed by wilds.

The pattern is typical for a 20-line fruit slot: frequent small returns from two- and three-line combinations, with the bigger numbers coming when a high symbol stacks on the first reels and several lines pay at once.

The Gamble Feature

After a win the message bar reads “TAKE win or RISK”. Pressing RISK opens a card gamble with two choices:

  • Red or black doubles the amount at risk (x2).
  • Guessing the suit multiplies it by four (x4).

In our screenshot 1.25 was at risk, with 2.50 shown for a correct colour and 5.00 for a correct suit. A row of previous cards is displayed so you can see recent results, and a TAKE 1/2 button lets you bank half of the win and gamble only the other half.

RTP and Numbers

Inbet has not published an RTP, volatility or maximum win for Crystal Hold, and the rules only state that the maximum win is limited by the rules of the game. The paytable itself gives the useful anchors: 50x for five 7s on a line and 100x for five scatters, before any free-spin wins are added.

Who It Is For

Crystal Hold suits players who like straightforward fruit slots with one clear goal in the bonus. The sticky wilds during free spins are the feature to wait for, and the card gamble gives an optional extra step after each win for those who want it.
