Elf Bingo Overview

Elf Bingo from TaDa Gaming combines a 5x5 slot with a bingo board above the reels. It was released on 9 October 2023, has a published RTP of 97%, low-to-medium volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x the stake.

The slot part pays on 50 lines, and only the highest win is paid on each line. The bingo board fills up as you play and leads to a Lucky Wheel with five jackpot levels. All the figures below were read from the demo at a bet of 50.

Leprechauns and Lucky Clovers

The game is set on a green Irish hillside under a rainbow. The reels are framed in dark wood and ivy, and the bingo board above them is a wall of climbing clover vines with a rainbow JACKPOT badge in the middle.

The symbols follow the St Patrick’s Day theme: a smiling leprechaun, a green top hat full of gold coins, a purple boot filled with gold, a tankard of beer, a red pipe and the card ranks from 10 to A. The wild is a four-leaf clover, and a pot of gold marked SCATTER can sit on top of it.

The Paytable

The paytable is printed as multipliers. The top hat and the boot pay x1.2 for five, x0.6 for four and x0.15 for three. The beer and the pipe pay x1, x0.5 and x0.1, and the A pays x0.75, x0.4 and x0.05.

These are small values, which fits the low-to-medium volatility: the slot part returns frequent small wins, and the bigger prizes come from the bingo board and the wheel.

Fifty Lines on a 5x5 Grid

The rules screen draws all 50 paylines on small 5x5 diagrams. They include the five straight rows, V shapes, zigzags and steps, so a symbol in the middle of the grid usually belongs to many lines at once. Only the highest win on each line is paid.

The clover WILD appeared on the middle reel in every winning capture we have, sometimes with the pot of gold SCATTER stacked above it. A single wild in the centre of the grid is often enough to complete two or three lines in the same spin.

What the Reels Paid

In our captures the clover wild on the middle reel connected several lines at once. Base-game wins at a bet of 50 came to 22.50, 35.00, 67.50 and 90.00 – between 0.45x and 1.8x the stake – with the 90.00 win built from a row of A symbols across four reels.

The Bingo Board

The board above the reels is a grid of coin places around the central JACKPOT badge. Clover coins with values land on it and stay there, and in our session the board showed coins worth 15, 20, 45 and 110 before it was complete.

The rules make one important point in red: each bingo board you bet on is recorded separately. The boards are independent of each other, and you can switch between them freely – so changing the bet does not wipe the progress you have made on another bet level.

When the board is filled, the game announces BINGO! and pays the collected coins. In our round the coins were worth values from 5 to 45 each, and the bingo itself paid 60.00 before the Lucky Wheel started.

The Lucky Wheel and the Jackpots

The jackpot ranges are shown above the board and scale with the bet. At 50 they read GRAND 35K–100K, MEGA 10K–25K, MAJOR 3.5K–7.5K, MINOR 1.5K–2.5K and MINI 500–1K – that is 700x–2,000x for the Grand and 10x–20x for the Mini.

The Lucky Wheel is a vertical reel of plaques between two stone pillars, with green heart markers pointing at the winning slot. In our first capture the plaques read MEGA 20,000, MAJOR 3,500, 250, 250 and MINI 750, and the round ended with a win of 415.00 and a total of 665. A second round showed MINOR 2,000 twice, MINI 750, 250 and 150, paid 195.00 and reached a total of 885 – about 17.7x the stake.

Reading the Jackpot Ranges

Unlike games with fixed jackpots, Elf Bingo shows each level as a range. The wheel plaques in our captures showed exact values inside those ranges – MINI 750, MINOR 2,000, MAJOR 3,500 and MEGA 20,000 at a bet of 50 – so the ranges above the board show the spread, and the wheel shows the actual prize.

Even the top of the GRAND range, 100K, is 2,000x the stake. The published 5,000x maximum is therefore above any single jackpot, which suggests that the top result combines several wheel prizes and the coins collected on the board.

How the Session Went

The balance in our captures tells the usual story of a low-to-medium volatility game. During a run of base-game spins it drifted from 2,425 down to 2,175, with the small line wins slowing the fall rather than stopping it.

The completed board and the wheel were the turning points: a single wheel round added 415.00 on its own, more than eight times the stake, which is far more than any line win we recorded.
