Fishing Club 2 Overview

Fishing Club 2 is a casual fishing game from BGaming, released on 7 April 2026. It is the sequel to Fishing Club, and it keeps the same idea: there are no reels and no paylines. You pick a risk level, place your bet and cast – and whatever fish bites carries a multiplier that is paid straight onto your stake. BGaming publishes a 97.16% RTP, medium-low volatility and a maximum multiplier of x3,000. Bets run from 0.60 to 51 per cast.

What Is New in the Sequel

BGaming describes Fishing Club 2 as keeping “the familiar rhythm of the original”, and the core loop is indeed unchanged. The additions are around it:

• Three locations to fish from, set at dawn, dusk and twilight, switched with the picture cards on the right of the screen.
• Two bonus games you can buy – the Fishing Net and the TNT round.
• Best Win and Best Catch trophies that keep a running record of your session.

Everything is shown from the angler’s point of view: you see your own hands on the rod, a wooden jetty on the left, a moored boat on the right and a misty lake ringed by wooded hills in front of you.

The Fish and Their Multipliers

The info screen lists every fish with its multiplier range. The top of the table, as shown in the game:

• Sailfish: x100 and above
• Sturgeon: x50 – x100
• Tuna: x40 – x50
• Arowana: x30 – x40
• Dorado (mahi-mahi): x20 – x30

Below them sits a second row of smaller catches – a trout, a pike, a flounder and a red, whiskered gurnard – in the lower ranges, down to single-digit multipliers. Not every cast is a winner either: the smallest bites pay less than the bet.

Five Risk Levels

The column on the left under the Fishing Club 2 logo is the risk selector: five lures, each with its own star rating. According to BGaming, the higher the risk level, the better the chance of a big catch – and the choice also shifts the minimum and maximum bet. You can change the level at any time between casts, so the game can be played calmly or aggressively from one moment to the next.

What Our Casts Showed

We played the demo at stakes of 6 and 10, and the screenshots let us check the maths.

At a 6.00 bet, one cast hooked a small red fish worth 2.00 – x0.33. That is the other side of a casual game: a catch is not the same as a win, and a third of the stake comes back.

A few casts later an arowana came up, and the game switched to the tackle-shop big win screen: 193.00 FUN, labelled 32.17x bet. That sits exactly inside the arowana’s x30 – x40 range from the table, so the paytable and the result agree.

Later, at a 10.00 stake, the Best Win trophy read 1,050.60 FUN and the Best Catch trophy x105.06. The two numbers match: a single catch at x105.06 on a 10 bet is 1,050.60 – which puts it in the top, x100-plus band of the table.

The Bonus Shop: Fishing Net and TNT

The shopping-cart button opens a blue tackle box with two bonus games. At a 10.00 bet the prices were:

• Fishing Net: 600.00 – 60x the bet
• TNT: 1,000.00 – 100x the bet

BGaming confirms the same multiples, and the prices move automatically with your stake. Both rounds come with a guaranteed win: the net is cast with a short animation before the haul is revealed, while the TNT round has you light the fuse on a bundle of dynamite and throw it into the lake.

Our TNT Round

We bought the TNT round for 1,000.00. The screenshots show the lit dynamite in the angler’s hands, then a flounder surfacing from the blast, and finally a big win screen with a dorado: 393.94 FUN, about 39.4x the bet. The balance stayed at 289.00 throughout the round, which shows the 393.94 as the round’s total. That is a useful reality check: the TNT round guarantees a win, not a profit – ours returned well under half of its 100x price.

Best Win and Best Catch

The two trophies on the right are more than decoration. Best Win records the highest win in a single play, Best Catch the highest multiplier landed, each with a small picture of the fish.

Graphics and Sound

The lake scene is softly lit with morning mist on the water, and the fish leap out of it in bright, saturated colours: the purple arowana, the green-and-yellow dorado, the orange-finned flounder. Big wins move indoors to a wooden tackle shop with nets, rods, a tackle box and a shelf of lures, the winning fish mounted on a gold trophy plaque.

Both games share the 97.16% RTP, the x3,000 ceiling and the five risk levels. The sequel adds the three locations, the Best Win and Best Catch trophies and, above all, the bonus shop – the original had no way to buy a feature.

Who It Is For

Fishing Club 2 is for players who want something lighter than a slot: one cast, one fish, one multiplier. The high RTP and medium-low volatility make it a steady game, the risk levels let you raise the stakes when you want to, and the 60x and 100x bonus buys add some drama – as long as you remember that a guaranteed catch is not a guaranteed profit.
