Fishing Kingdom Overview

Fishing Kingdom Remastered is a multiplayer fish-shooting game from NetGame Entertainment, released on 18 September 2024 as a new edition of the 2020 original. Up to four players share one underwater arena, each with a cannon at a corner of the screen, and every fish you bring down pays a multiple of your shot. NetGame lists it with an RTP of 96.12%, low volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x.

The first Fishing Kingdom came out on 16 November 2020 with an RTP of 96.02%, medium variance, the same 5,000x ceiling and shots from $0.01 to $1.00. NetGame’s demo server and our partner casinos now carry only the Remastered edition, and that is the free game above. The figures below come from our own demo session.

An Underwater Arena for Four

The playing field is a sandy seabed framed by purple and blue coral. Four cannons sit at the corners, marked PLAYER 1 to PLAYER 4, and your own seat shows your credits and your cash balance side by side – 118,340 credits next to 1,183.40 in one capture, so one credit is worth one cent.

The fish come in every size: small blue and yellow tangs, clownfish, pink pufferfish, a large green stingray and a blue hammerhead shark. Floating bubbles carry lotus flowers, oranges and red lanterns, and special targets carry the bonus features.

What the Fish Pay

The rules run over eleven pages. One of them lists the common fish with their multipliers: x10, x8, x6, x5, x4, x3 and x2, from the striped angelfish at the top down to the small red fish at the bottom. The larger creatures sit on other pages and pay more.

The same page carries a reassuring note: “When the game is down, the system will return the current bullets and bets to player.” If the connection drops mid-shot, you do not lose the stake already in the air.

Choosing Your Shot

A plus and minus control at the bottom right sets the shot value. We played at 20 credits and later at 50 credits per shot. A pink LASER button in the middle of the bottom edge switches to the Super Laser, a beam that cuts straight across the arena and can hit several fish on its way.

The Pick’em Game

One of the bonus targets opens Pick 1 Fortune: five crowns on a red and gold board, each hiding a multiplier. In our round they were x50, x100, x250, x1000 and x2500. We picked the x250 crown, and at a 20-credit shot the game announced YOU WON 5000 credits. The x2500 crown shows how high this single feature can reach: half of the game’s 5,000x ceiling in one pick.

The Fortune Wheel

A second target carries the word WHEEL, and hitting it spins a two-ring Fortune Wheel. The outer ring holds multipliers of x2, x3, x5 and x10. The inner ring holds prizes such as 10 FREE SHOTS, 25 FREE SHOTS and values of 100. The two results combine: our wheel stopped on x2 over 10 free shots, and the next screen confirmed 20 FREE SHOTS.

Free Shots

Free shots are fired without touching your balance, and a counter at the right edge keeps track of them. We saw it at 132 and later at 71 shots left, with the laser firing across the board both times, so a long free-shot run can last a good while.

During that stretch our balance climbed from 1,183.40 at the start of the captures to 1,298.10, and it stood at 1,377.60 when the wheel round began.

Putting the Multipliers in Cash

Because one credit is one cent, the multipliers are easy to turn into money. At a 20-credit shot, a x2 fish returns 40 credits (€0.40) and a x10 angelfish returns 200 credits (€2.00). Our x250 crown was worth 5,000 credits, or €50, and the top x2500 crown on the same board would have paid 50,000 credits – €500 from a single twenty-cent shot.

That gap is the whole character of the game. Most shots miss or bring in a small fish worth a few times the stake, so the balance drifts slowly between features. In our captures it dipped from 1,183.40 to 1,159.40 before the pick’em round, then recovered once the bonuses started to land. The bonus targets are what turn a quiet session into a profitable one.

Where the Bonuses Hide

The bonus features are not triggered by a spin but by shooting the right target. The wheel sits on a round golden medallion marked WHEEL that moves among the fish, and in one of our captures the pink laser beam was aimed straight at it. The floating bubbles with lotus flowers, oranges and red lanterns drift through the same space as further targets.

That makes aiming part of the strategy: spending a few shots on a passing bonus target can be worth more than chasing the small fish around it.

Original and Remastered

According to NetGame, the Remastered edition adds four bosses on the seabed, many more small fish, four unique bonuses and a boost mode that doubles the chance of catching a fish. The core ideas of the 2020 original – multiplayer shooting, the laser, the wheel, the pick’em and free shots – are all still there.

Who Should Play It

Fishing Kingdom suits players who like arcade shooting with a slot-style bonus layer on top. The fish multipliers are easy to learn, the laser and free shots keep the pace up, and the wheel and crowns add the occasional big moment.

The low volatility of the Remastered version means steadier, smaller results than a typical slot, which makes it a relaxed choice for longer sessions.
