Fruit Eruption Overview

Fruit Eruption is a volcanic fruit slot from Amigo Gaming, released in June 2024. A Hula Lady guides you across a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, set in front of a smoking volcano and a Hawaiian jungle. Amigo Gaming rates the volatility as medium and gives a maximum multiplier of x1,300. Stakes run from 0.20 to 200 per spin. Amigo Gaming does not list an RTP on its own game page.

The game combines a classic fruit paytable with three features: an expanding wild, free games with giant symbols and a Pin Win bonus triggered by fireballs.

The Paytable

We played at a stake of 2,000 coins. The paytable shows these values for five, four and three of a kind, which convert to:

• Lucky 7: 25,000 / 5,000 / 1,000 – 12.5x, 2.5x, 0.5x
• Blue 7: 20,000 / 3,000 / 1,000 – 10x, 1.5x, 0.5x
• Bell and watermelon: 10,000 / 2,500 / 1,000 – 5x, 1.25x, 0.5x
• Grapes: 7,500 / 2,000 / 500 – 3.75x, 1x, 0.25x
• Plum: 5,000 / 1,500 / 500 – 2.5x, 0.75x, 0.25x

Orange, lemon and cherry complete the set as the lowest symbols. The rules add the usual fine print: all prizes are shown for the current bet, only the highest win is paid per line, and scatter wins are added to line wins.

Reading the Paytable

A few details in the table are worth a closer look. The two sevens are not equal: four Lucky 7s pay 2.5x, four blue 7s only 1.5x, and five Lucky 7s pay 12.5x against 10x for the blue ones. Three of either pay the same 0.5x, so the difference only shows on longer lines. The bell and the watermelon are identical at every length, and grapes pay noticeably more than plums for four of a kind – 1x against 0.75x.

The top of the table is modest for a slot with a x1,300 ceiling. Five Lucky 7s on one line are 12.5x, so the large wins have to come from many lines paying at once – which is exactly what the expanding wild and the giant symbols are for.

The Hula Lady Wild

The wild is the Hula Lady in a flower garland, and she expands to cover her whole reel. In our first screenshot she filled the second reel and completed two lines – one with bells – for a total of 3,500, or 1.75x the stake. It is the same dancer-wild idea Amigo Gaming later used in 3 Spirit Volcanoes, another volcano-themed slot from the studio.

What Our Base Game Showed

The paytable checks out on screen. A single line of five watermelons paid 10,000 – exactly the 5x from the table. On the same spin a fireball showed 2,000 on its face: fireballs carry values in the base game, but the rules say they only pay during the Pin Win bonus.

Free Games

The free games start from the volcano scatters marked FREE GAMES. Three of them landed on one spin and paid 4,000 – 2x the stake – before the game announced “You won 6 free games!”

The round then grew twice. On free game 1/6 a giant volcano scatter covered the three middle reels and paid another 2,000; by 2/9 the game had added “3 more free games!”, and later the counter read 8/15 – so the round that opened with six spins grew to fifteen.

Giant Symbols in the Free Games

This is where Fruit Eruption does its real work. During the free games a single symbol can fill a 3x3 block across reels two to four. Two of our spins show what that means:

• On free game 8/15 a giant Lucky 7 filled the centre. Seven lines paid, one of them 7,000, for a spin total of 17,000 – 8.5x.
• On free game 10/15 the giant block was the wild. With nine wild positions in the middle, all 20 lines paid, one of them 15,500, and the round total reached 32,500 – about 16x the stake.

A 3x3 wild in the middle of a 20-line game touches every line, so the result depends on what lands on the first and last reels. In our spin those were plums, lemons, grapes and a Lucky 7.

Scatter Pays

The volcano scatters pay on their own, anywhere on the reels. Three of them paid 4,000 at our 2,000 stake – 2x – and the prize was added to the line wins of the same spin, as the rules describe. Inside the free games, a giant scatter covering the middle of the reels paid a further 2,000 and extended the round.

Following One Round

The win meter under the reels lets us follow the free games from start to finish. It read 4,000 when the round was triggered, 6,000 after the giant scatter on the first free game, 8,000 at spin 2/9, then 17,000 after the Lucky 7 block and 32,500 after the giant wild at 10/15. The balance above stayed at 926,500 throughout, because free games winnings are paid out at the end of the round. From a 2,000 stake that is already more than 16x with five spins still to go.

The Pin Win Bonus

The ticker at the top of the screen gives the trigger: 6 or more fireball symbols start the Pin Win. Amigo Gaming’s description calls it the phase where you “gather erupting prizes”. Fireballs already show cash values on the reels in the base game – the one in our screenshot read 2,000, or 1x the stake – and the rules confirm that these values are paid only inside the bonus. Our screenshots did not catch a full Pin Win round, so we cannot report its jackpot levels here.

20 Paylines

The lines page shows all twenty: the three rows, V shapes, zig-zags and lines that bounce between the top and bottom rows. They are fixed, so every spin plays all of them. The rules describe the game in one sentence: “Fruit Eruption is a 5-reel 3-row slot game with 20 fixed paylines.”

Stakes

With a range of 0.20 to 200, Fruit Eruption covers both casual and high-stakes play. Because every prize is shown in coins for the current bet, the screen always tells you the real amount; divide it by the stake to get the multiple.

Amigo Gaming’s own page gives June 2024, medium volatility and x1,300. SlotCatalog lists the game with 15 July 2024, medium-high variance and x1,400. We use the studio’s figures, since they come from the developer.

Graphics and Setting

The base game plays in front of an erupting volcano, with lava running down its slopes behind palm trees. The reels sit in a carved wooden frame. The free games move to a greener jungle with the volcano smoking in the distance, and the giant symbols are framed in vines. The fruit symbols are glossy and bright: red Lucky 7s, blue 7s, gold bells and cut watermelons.

Who It Is For

Fruit Eruption is for players who like a classic fruit paytable with modern features on top. The base game is steady, with the expanding Hula Lady helping out, and the free games are the highlight – retriggers took our round from six to fifteen spins, and a giant wild in the middle paid on all twenty lines.
