Golden Strike Overview

Golden Strike is a fish-shooting game from KA Gaming, released on 23 December 2025. Instead of spinning reels you fire a cannon at fish swimming across the screen, and every fish you bring down pays a multiple of your shot. A Goldfish Pond in a Chinese Garden

The action takes place behind a large round moon gate, as if you were looking into an ornamental pond. Fantail goldfish in red, orange and white drift past lotus flowers and water plants, red lanterns hang at the edges, and the heavier targets are dressed in gold and red. It is a calm, decorative setting with a clear Chinese garden character.

A Shared Table

The screen has four cannon positions, one in each corner. In our session the other three showed “Waiting for player”, so the table is built for several players shooting at the same fish. Your own cannon sits at the bottom left, with the shot value in the middle and plus and minus buttons on either side.

Shots and Prizes

We played at $1 and later $3 per shot. Ordinary fish returned small amounts: glowing prize rings showed $40 and $50 at the $1 level. The big events are announced with a golden temple gate floating on clouds in the middle of the screen.

At $1 a shot, one of those gates showed $275.00 – 275 times the shot. At $3 a shot, another reached $678.00, or 226 times the shot. A third event covered the pond in a shower of gold coins marked $6 and $15, adding up to a $126 ring at the $3 level, or 42 times the shot.

Special Features

SlotCatalog describes three extra mechanics: hidden fish explosions, a freeze effect that stops the fish in place, and bullet upgrades. A red fantail with a green crosshair on it shows the targeting system in action, and a scroll badge marked “Coming” on the left edge announces a feature waiting to arrive. We did not see the freeze or the explosions trigger, so we list them here as SlotCatalog describes them.

How a Shooter Pays

A fish-shooting game works differently from a slot. Each shot costs the value shown on your cannon, and a fish only pays when it is brought down – small fish fall quickly and return little, large targets absorb many shots and return much more. The result is a steady drain punctuated by bursts, which is exactly what our balance showed.
