Lamp of Wonder Overview

Lamp of Wonder is an Arabian-themed Hold and Win game from Booongo, released on 30 May 2024. It plays on a compact 3x3 grid, bets run from 0.10 to 60 according to SlotCatalog, and the maximum win is 500x the bet – the Grand Jackpot. Booongo’s public pages do not show an RTP or a volatility rating, and SlotCatalog lists both as not available, so our data box leaves them open rather than guess.

An Arabian Night Setting

The grid sits in a golden frame against a purple night sky, with the golden lamp and the game logo on the left and the jackpot panel on top. The right-hand controls cover autoplay, spin and turbo, and the Buy Bonus button sits under the logo. The buy panels preview what each round can bring: the Bonus Game card shows a Mystery Jackpot, a MINI and a cash coin, while the Ultra card shows x2 and x3 multipliers on the grid.

SlotCatalog describes Lamp of Wonder as a game with no ordinary base-game wins: every spin is a hunt for the bonus. Landing three bonus symbols on the middle row starts the Bonus Game, announced by a big purple “WONDER” banner.

Four Jackpots Above the Grid

Four fixed jackpots sit above the reels and scale with the bet. At 5.00 they read MINI 50, MINOR 100, MAJOR 250 and GRAND 2,500 – that is 10x, 20x, 50x and 500x. The Grand is paid for filling all nine positions, which makes the jackpot the game’s ceiling.

How the Bonus Game Works

The round starts with 3 respins. Coins stick in place, and each new coin resets the counter. Cells can carry multipliers – we saw x2, x3 and x5 during our rounds – and Mystery symbols reveal their value later in the round.

The rules page adds a Collect symbol: it gathers all bonus and jackpot prizes on the board and then stays on the reels until the end of the Bonus Game.

Multipliers That Land at the End

Two captures of the same round show how the multipliers work. With the respins used up, the grid held coins of 75, 20 and two of 5, a MINI, and two Mystery symbols, with x3, x2, x2 and x5 badges on some cells. In the final count the x3 turned a 5 into 15, the x2s turned 5 into 10 and 20 into 40, and the Mystery under the x5 opened as 5 and became 25. The other Mystery revealed 15.

So a small coin under a big multiplier can outweigh a large coin on its own – the position of the badges matters as much as the coin values.

Two Buy Options

The Buy Bonus menu offers the Bonus Game for 150 and the Ultra Bonus Game for 375 at a 5.00 bet – 30x and 75x. The Ultra version is sold on “more multipliers”, and SlotCatalog adds that its multipliers are guaranteed.

What Our Round Paid

Our best round ended with seven coins and a MINI on the board: 75, 20, 40, 15, 15, 10 and 25, plus the 50 MINI. That adds up to exactly the 250.00 total win the game displayed – 50x the bet – and the balance went from 391 to 641.

An earlier capture showed a 240.00 last win (48x) on the same 5.00 bet, so our two rounds landed close to each other, at roughly 50x each.

Not to Be Confused With…

Two similar names are worth separating. The casinos also list Novomatic’s Lamp of Wonders, a different game, and Triple Cherry has its own Wonder Lamp.
