Mahjong Riches Overview

Mahjong Riches is a 3,600-ways cascading slot from Spadegaming with a 96.8% RTP and a medium volatility rating. It was released on 4 March 2025.

No maximum win is published for this title and we have not invented one. It is a portrait-first release – a tall screen with the reels in the middle – and all figures below were read from demo play at €20.00 and €40.00 stakes.

Tiles, Clouds and a Mahjong Man

The reels are mahjong tiles – winds, dragons, bamboos and circles, drawn as real ivory-and-green pieces with weight and shadow. They sit in a red lacquer frame with gold clouds spilling over the corners, and a tile-headed old man with dice on his hat peers over the top-right corner.

The reels are uneven – different columns hold different numbers of tiles – which is what a 3,600-ways engine looks like. The count is printed across the top of the screen: 3,600 WAYS.

The Multiplier Ribbon

Above the tiles runs a ribbon with four steps on it. In the base game it reads x1 · x2 · x3 · x5, and the active step is picked out in gold: the captures catch it on x1 and later on x3.

Winning tiles are removed, new ones drop, and each cascade advances the ribbon – so a spin that keeps clearing gets progressively more valuable.

Inside the free spins the whole ribbon is doubled: it reads x2 · x4 · x6 · x10. That is the single clearest statement of what the round is worth – not more spins, but every cascade multiplied twice as hard.

The Paytable Is Tiny and Honest

The game rules list every tile with four bands – three, four, five and six of a kind. The green dragon leads on 50.00 for six, 30.00 for five, 6.00 for four and 4.00 for three. The red dragon pays 20.00 for five and 3.00 for three.

Below them the blank frame tile pays 30.00 for six, and then the four wind tiles – East, South, West, North – are all identical at 8.00 for six and 1.00 for three. The numbered bamboo and circle suits sit at the bottom on 5.00 for six.

So nine of the tiles pay the same handful of figures, and the whole hierarchy is: two dragons at the top, one frame tile, then everything else. On a cascading game that is deliberate – the ribbon, not the tile, decides what a spin is worth.

The Wild Is a Gold Ingot

The wild is a gold ingot on a purple cushion with WILD written across it, and it stands out completely against the tiles. The captures show two of them at once in both the base game and the round.

The best base result came from exactly that: two ingots among bamboo and wind tiles for WIN 240.00 at the €40.00 stake – 6x, and the largest single figure in the session.

Without them the base game is quiet. Another capture reads WIN 8.00 against the same €40.00 bet – a fifth of the stake.
