Mega Bingo Overview

Mega Bingo is a video bingo game from Caleta Gaming, released on 26 October 2023. Instead of reels you play up to 16 bingo cards at once against a single draw of balls, and the prize depends on which pattern each card completes. SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 95.42% and a stake range of 0.15 to 96 per round; no volatility rating or maximum win figure is published for the game.

Cards and Stakes

The screen holds two blocks of eight cards, and each card is a 3x5 grid of fifteen numbers, with values running up to 90. In our session the stake was 3.00 per card, so the sixteen cards made a total bet of 48.00, shown as “Total Bet” at the bottom with minus and plus buttons beside it. The drawn balls drop out of the glass machine in the centre and line up in two rows across the top of the screen, while every hit is marked on the cards as it lands, so you can follow each card filling up.

Twelve Winning Patterns

The strip of small card icons along the top is the paytable. Each icon shows one pattern on the 3x5 card and what it pays at the current card bet. At 3.00 per card the twelve patterns were worth:

• 4.5K for the full card – all fifteen numbers, or 1,500x the card bet;
• 2.25K (750x) and 1.5K (500x) for the next two shapes;
• 600.00 (200x), then 300.00 (100x) for two different patterns;
• 120.00 (40x) for two more, 30.00 (10x) and 24.00 (8x);
• 9.00 (3x) for the two smallest patterns.

During a round the icons light up in colour as your cards come close to a shape, which shows at a glance which patterns are still in play.

Buying an Extra Ball

When the draw ends, the game offers extra balls one at a time with the question “Would you like to buy an extra ball?”. The price changes with what is still possible: a banner shows the best outcome, such as “Hit the number 10 to win 2,559.00”, and the cost of that ball was 309.05. With smaller prizes in reach the offers dropped to 59.51, 38.93 and 24.06, and a tick or a cross accepts or declines each one. One extra ball came out as a rainbow “?” ball, a mystery number.

How a Round Plays

A round has two stages. First you set the card bet and press play, and the main draw runs by itself while the cards are marked. Then the extra ball stage begins: the banner names a number that is still missing and what it would pay, the next ball gets a price, and the game waits for your answer. The Win box on the right shows what the cards have collected so far.

Controls
