Mega Mushrooms Overview

Mega Mushrooms is an Irish-themed video slot from Amigo Gaming, released on 20 March 2026. A leprechaun keeps watch over a green valley of clovers and gold coins, and the reels run on a 5x3 grid with 25 paylines. Amigo Gaming rates the game medium-high volatility and lists a top multiplier of x3,300. Stakes run from 0.25 to 100 per spin. The studio does not publish an RTP figure on its game page.

The game is built around Amigo’s Pin Win system: three giant mushrooms hang above the reels, and together with a purple pot and a Free Games sign they label the five bonus paths the game can take.

The Five Features Above the Reels

Look at the top of the screen and the whole game is laid out in front of you:

Symbols and Wilds

The low symbols are the card royals 10, J, Q, K and A, drawn in bright colours on dark blue tiles. The Irish symbols sit above them: a horseshoe, a pipe, a foaming tankard of beer and the leprechaun himself. The wild is a red-capped mushroom with a WILD banner, and it substitutes on the lines. Coins carrying cash values can appear on top of the regular symbols – in one of our spins a leprechaun on the third reel carried a €50.00 coin.

Reading the Screen

The bottom bar keeps everything simple: the balance on the left, the current win in the middle and the stake on the right, with a Lines Played counter that tells you how many of the 25 lines paid on the last spin. During the free games the counter on the left side of the screen shows the spins used and remaining, so you always know how much of the round is left.

Our Base Game Spins

We played the demo at a €25 stake. One spin landed three wild mushrooms spread over the grid and paid on 3 lines for €20.00 in total – a small win of 0.8x the bet. Another spin put a BONUS symbol next to the leprechaun with the coin and paid €50.00 on a single line, twice the stake.

Free Games

The Free Games feature opens with a full-screen panel in a cave filled with pots of gold and an orange crystal: “20 Free Games!”. The reels then move to a golden version of the valley, with a counter on the left showing progress through the round.

Pick’Em Bonus and the Four Jackpots

The purple pot leads to the Pick’Em Bonus, introduced by a violet crystal in the same cave of gold. The bonus itself is played on a meadow full of hidden tiles. Four coloured jackpots sit at the top, and at a €25 stake they were worth:

• Blue: €2,500.00 – 100x
• Green: €1,250.00 – 50x

Each pick reveals either a +1 for one of the colours or a cash prize such as €125.00 (5x) or €250.00 (10x). Each jackpot has three dots under its name, which fill as the matching +1 tiles are found. Our round ended on €1,250.00 – exactly the value of the Green jackpot. All four prizes were round multiples of the €25 bet, from 50x to 500x.

Graphics and Theme

Mega Mushrooms is bright and cheerful: rolling green hills, coin piles and clovers frame the reels, and the three spotted mushrooms above them glow when their feature is active. The bonus intros move underground to a mossy cave with a waterfall, green banners and cauldrons of gold. The Free Games switch the background to a field of golden clovers, which makes it easy to see at a glance which mode you are in.
