Nautical Treasures Overview

Nautical Treasures is a seven-by-seven cluster slot from Yggdrasil with cluster pays, a 94% RTP, a high volatility rating and a published ceiling of 3,100x. It was released on 20 April 2025.

The game prints that ceiling on a banner under the grid – WIN UP TO 3100x BET – which is unusually straightforward. All figures below were read from demo play at a €70.00 bet.

A Reef in Blue

The grid sits in a carved frame on the sea floor, with coral and anemones around it and a large pink octopus curled up at the bottom right. The symbols are shells, starfish, turtles and seahorse orbs in six colours.

To the left is a slim panel that lists each cluster as it pays – the symbol, how many of it landed, and what it was worth – which makes a cascading grid far easier to follow than most.

The Paytable Has One Enormous Step

Clusters pay in eight bands: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10+, 12+ and 15+. At the €70.00 bet the top symbol – the pink shell – pays €70.00 for five, €140.00 for six, €350.00 for eight, €1,400.00 for ten or more and €2,500.00 for twelve or more.

And then the last band: €52,500.00 for fifteen or more. That is 750x the stake, against 35.7x for twelve – a twenty-onefold jump for three extra symbols.

The same shape repeats down the table. The turtle pays €1,750.00 for twelve and €21,000.00 for fifteen; the orange shell €1,050.00 and €10,500.00; the seahorse orb €350.00 and €5,250.00. The low symbols top out at €700.00, which is 10x.

So this is a game with one target: get a single symbol to fifteen positions. Everything below that band is small change, and the 3,100x ceiling is roughly four times the best fifteen-cluster – so it needs the multipliers as well.

The hierarchy is worth knowing before you play: the paytable splits into four HIGH symbols – pink shell, turtle, orange shell and seahorse orb – and a set of LOW symbols below them, all of which share the same modest figures. Only the four high symbols have a 15+ band worth reaching.

The Pearl and the Shell

On the right of the grid sits a golden clam holding a glowing pearl, with a counter underneath it. The captures catch it at 0/25, then 11/25, then back at 0/25.

Pearls appear on the grid as bright orbs, and when a cluster clears them a beam of light carries each one up into the clam. Two captures show the beam in flight. Twenty-five of them fill the shell.

Some pearls arrive with a multiplier attached – one capture shows a x2 badge on a pearl sitting inside a ten-symbol cluster worth €420.00.

The counter returning to 0/25 between captures says the collection completes and restarts rather than running for the whole session, so the shell is a repeating feature rather than a one-off jackpot.

The pearls do not arrive one at a time. One capture has three of them glowing on the grid at once, another two, so a single busy spin can move the counter several steps.

What the Clusters Paid

The recorded wins, in order of size: €10.50, €49.00, €84.00, €112.00, €350.00 and €420.00.

Converted to the €70.00 stake that is 0.15x, 0.7x, 1.2x, 1.6x, 5x and 6x. Note the bottom of that list: a five-symbol cluster of a mid-tier shell returns fifteen hundredths of the bet. On a cluster game the small hits are genuinely tiny.

The two best results were both ten-symbol clusters – €350.00 from orange shells and €420.00 from seahorse orbs with the x2 pearl. Ten is where this game starts paying properly, and fifteen is where it pays seriously.

The Cascade Panel

Because several clusters can resolve on one spin, the left panel stacks them: one capture lists 5 shells for €35.00, 6 starfish for €14.00 and 5 more shells for €35.00 while the spin total shows €49.00 underneath.

Reading the two together is the only way to follow what a spin actually did – the running total is the number that matters, and the panel explains where it came from.

One honest limitation of this session: no free spins round appeared in the captures. Everything above is base play, and the pearl meter is the only feature we saw working – so treat the 3,100x banner as the studio’s claim rather than something we watched happen.

The footer is minimal: a SpinON label in the bottom-left corner, the game name in the bottom-right, and BALANCE and BET between them. There is no buy button, no ante and no bet ladder on screen – the stake is set from the coin menu and that is the whole control surface.

A 94% Return

The number that has to be said out loud: 94% is low, and it is the same figure Yggdrasil used on Almighty Thunder in the previous batch. With a high volatility rating and a paytable that hides its value in the 15+ band, this is a game that will run cold for long stretches.

The balance bears it out: across the captures it reads €10,860.00, 10,590.50, 10,821.50, 10,800.50, 10,688.50, 11,063.00 and €10,979.00 – drifting sideways within a few hundred euro on a €70.00 stake.

Who Should Play It

Nautical Treasures is for players who like cluster grids and want a collection meter to watch while they wait. The artwork is genuinely pretty rather than garish, the cascade panel is the clearest in this batch, and the 15+ band gives every big cluster a target worth chasing.

The reservations are the 94% return and the shape of the paytable. A five-cluster paying 0.15x means most winning spins do not cover themselves, and the pearl meter needs twenty-five collections before it does anything at all.
