Joker Empire Overview

Joker Empire is a castle-themed slot from Amigo Gaming, released in September 2024 (SlotCatalog dates it to 11 September 2024). It runs on a classic 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, and Amigo Gaming lists it with medium-low volatility and a maximum multiplier of x1,500. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100 per spin.

The story is simple: the Joker has invited the luckiest players into his castle, and behind its doors wait free games, a Pin Win bonus, expanding wilds, sticky symbols and a mystery symbol.

Four Features on the Start Screen

Two Kinds of Wild

Joker Empire has two wilds, and they do different jobs. The crown WILD is a normal symbol with its own line pays – and it is the most valuable one on the reels. The Joker is the special wild: according to the in-game ticker, the special wild expands vertically, so when he lands he fills his whole reel. Our screenshots show him doing exactly that, sometimes on three reels at once.

The Paytable

At a €100 bet the paytable shows the following values for five, four, three (and for the wild, two) of a kind:

• Crown WILD: €5,000 / €2,500 / €500 / €50 – 50x, 25x, 5x and 0.5x the bet
• The two ladies: €1,500 / €750 / €200 / €20 – 15x, 7.5x, 2x, 0.2x
• Golden goblet: €1,000 / €500 / €150 – 10x, 5x, 1.5x
• Bag of gold and emerald ring: €750 / €500 / €100 – 7.5x, 5x, 1x

The card letters and numbers make up the low end. The rules add the usual details: wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, only the highest win per line is paid, scatters count anywhere on the reels, and scatter wins are added to line wins.

What Our Spins Showed

We played the demo at €100 per spin. A single line paid €50, half the stake. A two-line spin paid €350, most of it from a row of As completed by the crown WILD for €250.

The big moments came from the Joker. On one spin he expanded on the first, third and fourth reels, and all ten lines paid for a total of €3,050 – one of them four goblets for €500, exactly the paytable value. Another spin with three Joker reels paid €3,700: the best line was five ladies worth €1,500, again matching the table at 15x. Over these spins the balance climbed from €9,849.90 to €15,269.90.

Free Games and Sticky Mystery Symbols

Three castle scatters start the free games. The ticker explains the key rule: mystery symbols stick to their position during free games. Every mystery block that lands stays on the reels for the rest of the round, so the board fills up as the spins go on and the reveals get bigger. Our screenshots do not show the round itself, so we cannot report a result.

Pin Win Bonus

Six or more purple orbs trigger the Pin Win bonus, the hold-and-win round Amigo Gaming uses across its catalogue. It did not trigger in our session, so we have no board to show.

Where the x1,500 Comes From

The paytable puts the ceiling in context. Even a screen full of crown WILDs would pay 50x on each of the ten lines – 500x in total. The x1,500 maximum is three times that, so the top prizes have to come from the bonus features rather than from line wins alone. SlotCatalog’s feature list for the game also mentions additional free spins, respins and a multiplier, which fits that picture.

In the base game the realistic big hits are the ones we saw: two or three expanded Jokers turning ordinary symbols into wins on every line, worth around 30x to 37x the bet.

Graphics

The reels stand inside a stone castle hall with red banners, stone gargoyles and lit candles. The Joker is drawn as a grinning jester in green and purple, the ladies as a red-haired lady and a fair princess, and the high symbols as gold, emeralds and a jewelled goblet.
