Striking Diamond Overview

Striking Diamond is a compact classic slot from Fugaso, released on 28 March 2024. It plays on three reels and three rows with 5 fixed paylines. SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 96%, medium-high volatility, a hit frequency of 12.5%, a top win of 5,000x the bet and stakes from 0.20 to 40.

Symbols

The reels mix the fruit-machine regulars – cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes and watermelons – with golden bells and double BAR symbols. Two special symbols do the heavy lifting: gold octagonal coins that carry a cash value, and the sparkling blue diamond. In our demo, three oranges on the bottom line paid 120 at a bet of 30, which is four times the stake.

How the Diamond Collects

When the diamond strikes, it gathers the values of the coins on screen; in both of our collecting spins it landed on the middle reel. In one spin, coins worth 30 and 210 landed on the first reel, the diamond struck on the middle reel and the game paid 240, exactly the sum of the two coins. In another spin a single coin worth 450 was collected for a 450 win. Both results were taken at a bet of 30, so these two spins returned 8x and 15x the stake.

Four Fixed Jackpots

Four jackpot boxes frame the logo. At a bet of 30 they showed:

  • Grand – 30,000 (1,000x the bet)
  • Major – 4,500 (150x)
  • Minor – 1,500 (50x)
  • Mini – 750 (25x)

SlotCatalog lists them as fixed jackpots rather than progressive ones, and in our session the amounts did not move between spins.

Look and Controls

The reels sit in a glowing gold frame on a dark-blue background streaked with light, with the Striking Diamond logo and its large gem at the top. The controls run down the right-hand side: plus and minus buttons for the bet, a big circular spin button and a separate autoplay button, while balance and bet are shown along the bottom edge. Winning lines are simply highlighted, as with the oranges in our third screenshot.

Our Take

Striking Diamond takes the familiar coin-collect idea and strips it down to a 3x3 grid, which makes every diamond landing easy to follow. The four fixed jackpots give it a clear upper tier, while the medium-high volatility means the bigger collections come less often. You can try it without registration in the free demo on the left.
