Thunder Hawk Overview

Thunder Hawk, listed by the studio as Thunderhawk, is a Native American themed video slot from Yggdrasil, made by Peter & Sons as part of the YGS Masters programme. Theme and Setting

The reels stand in a village at the foot of red sandstone cliffs, with painted tepees, pine trees and a carved totem pole on the left. The low-paying symbols are the letters J, Q, K and A carved into orange stones. The premium symbols are four villagers painted in a warm, detailed style: the old chief in his feather headdress, a young woman with braids and two warriors. The highest regular symbol is the feathered Thunderhawk mask. In our second screenshot the scene has changed to night, with stars over the tents.

Paytable

Our first screenshot shows the first page of the paytable on a bet of 50.00. Five Thunderhawk masks pay 2,500, which is 50 times the bet, four pay 1,000 and three pay 250. Five chiefs pay 1,250, five of the warrior on the right pay 625, and five of the young woman or the second warrior pay 375. The totem pole on the left of the reels carries a prize ladder for the Thunderhawk symbols. On a 50.00 bet it starts at 50 for 3 Thunderhawks and climbs through 250, 500, 1,250, 5,000, 12,500, 25,000 and 50,000 to 125,000 for 11 and 500,000 for 12. The top rung is the game’s x10,000 maximum. The more Thunderhawks you collect on the reels, the higher up the ladder you go.

Yggdrasil describes a free spins game with up to 10 expanding symbols and a random powerup on every spin. A chosen symbol expands to cover its whole reel when it lands.
