Wild Cash Dice Overview

Wild Cash Dice is a dice slot from BGaming, released on 1 September 2023. Instead of fruits or card symbols, the 5x3 reels are filled with coloured dice, and the game pays on 10 lines. BGaming's own game page lists a 96.12% RTP, very high volatility, a hit rate of 11.55 and a maximum multiplier of 10,490x the bet, up to €209,800 at the top stake.

A Board of Dice

The reels sit in a glowing arcade cabinet with marquee lights around the frame and a purple night sky behind it. Every symbol is a die: white, red, blue, green, orange and pink dice, a purple die with a gold star, and a yellow die with a red 7. The number of pips on a die does not seem to matter for the pays; in our screenshots it was the colour that formed the winning lines. A lever on the left side of the cabinet is a reminder of the classic one-armed bandit, and it plays a part in the bonus.

What Our Spins Showed

We played at a total bet of 20.00 FUN, starting from a balance of 1,000.00. The line wins on the screenshots were:

Some dice appear in stacks that cover a whole reel, like the column of red dice in the 200.00 win, which is how one spin can complete more than one line of the same colour.

The Bonus Symbol

The special symbol is a small golden slot machine with the word BONUS on top and 999 on its reels. Three or more of them trigger the Bonus game. According to BGaming, the number of Bonus symbols also matters:

• 3 Bonus symbols: the Bonus game
• 4 Bonus symbols: the Bonus game with an extra x3 multiplier
• 5 Bonus symbols: the Bonus game with an extra x10 multiplier

Our trigger spin had three of them, on reels 2, 3 and 5.

The Three-Reel Multiplier Machine

When the Bonus game starts, a big three-reel machine with a red-knobbed lever fills the screen. Three arrows point down at the empty reels and a “Click to Spin” button starts it. The reels then stop one by one, from right to left, and together they form a number from 1 to 999. BGaming describes this number as a random multiplier applied to the win.

In our round the machine stopped at 0 5 8, a multiplier of 58x. The screenshots end at the moment the number appears, so they don't show how the final win was calculated, and we only report the multiplier itself.

The maths behind the ceiling fits the machine: the highest possible reading is 999, and the extra multipliers for 4 and 5 Bonus symbols can push the result far beyond a normal line win.

Buy Bonus

The Buy Bonus button on the left side of the cabinet showed 2,000.00 FUN at our 20.00 bet, which is 100x. The price adjusts automatically when you change the bet.

Our Session in Numbers

The screenshots carry the clock and the balance, so they tell a small story of their own. We started at 1,000.00 FUN just after 10:17. Two minutes later, after the pink-dice win of 60.00, the balance stood at 789.98, and after the 130.00 win it was 749.97. At 10:23, with the red-dice win of 200.00 on screen, it was 659.98. The Bonus game arrived at 10:28 with the balance at 680.00.

That is a typical picture for a very high volatility game: the line wins slow the fall of the balance but don't reverse it, and the session is really waiting for the Bonus symbols. Around a third of the starting balance had gone by the time the multiplier machine appeared.

The Special Dice

Two dice look different from the rest. The yellow die with a red 7 and the purple die with a gold star appear among the ordinary dice on the reels. In the 130.00 win two star dice sat on the top row next to the white dice, but the screenshots don't show a paytable, so we can't say what each special die is worth or whether one of them acts as a wild.
