Wild Celebrity Bus Megaways

Wild Celebrity Bus Megaways Overview

Wild Celebrity Bus Megaways is a London sightseeing slot from Pragmatic Play, released on 4 April 2023 according to SlotCatalog. The reels are the windows of a red double-decker bus, and the symbols are its passengers. Pragmatic’s own game page lists an RTP of 96.52%; SlotCatalog shows 95.5% and notes that the game comes in several RTP versions, so the figure can differ from casino to casino. SlotCatalog also lists high volatility, up to 117,649 ways, a maximum win of 4,000x and stakes from 0.20 to 100.

The Bus and Its Passengers

The game has six reels whose height changes on every spin, which is why the number of ways moves around. In our screenshots the Megaways counter showed 2,880, 7,560 and 44,100 on different spins. Behind the bus you can see brick terraces by day and the London Eye by night.

The premium symbols are cartoon passengers rather than real people: a knitting grandmother, a young man with a cap and a can, a businessman on his phone, a singer with a microphone and a golden dog. The card ranks from 10 to A are the low symbols.

Wilds and Tumbles

Pragmatic describes wilds that can land across the board to help complete wins. Every winning symbol is removed, new symbols drop into the gaps, and the tumbles continue until no new win appears.

Respins and Free Spins

A crown Scatter starts the features. SlotCatalog explains that three scatters give respins with the scatters held in place, and that four, five or six scatters trigger 8, 10 or 12 free spins. Pragmatic confirms the 8-spin start and adds that more scatters in the bonus award five extra spins.

According to SlotCatalog, the respins run for five rounds on the remaining positions, and wins are paid as in the base game. Landing even one more scatter during the respins triggers the free spins, so the respins are best seen as a second route into the bonus.

In the free spins every win raises a multiplier by 1x, and it does not reset during the round; SlotCatalog puts its cap at x50. In our demo the panel read 5x when we won $28.47 at a $2 bet. Later, at 13x, a win of $204.40 landed (102.2x) and the bonus total passed $221.

Buy Options

Two buttons sit on the bus stop sign at the left. At a $2 bet, Buy Respins cost $40 (20x) and Buy Free Spins cost $200 (100x). Bonus buys are not offered in every market, so the buttons may be missing at some casinos.

Controls

The Megaways counter and, in the bonus, the multiplier panel sit on the side of the bus to the left of the reels. The bet is changed with the minus and plus buttons beside the spin button, and the credit and the current bet are shown at the bottom left. Holding the space bar starts turbo spins, and the i button opens the paytable and rules.

Who It Is For

The bus theme is light and colourful, while the maths is not: most of the value sits in the free spins and the growing multiplier. Players who like Megaways games with a clear bonus goal will find a familiar structure here.
