Wild Craps Overview

Wild Craps is a classic fruit slot from Foxi (Fazi), released on 14 February 2024. Despite the name, it is not a craps table: it is a 5x3 fruit machine with 10 fixed paylines, and the craps theme comes from the pair of red and white dice that act as the wild. SlotCatalog lists a 96.52% RTP and stakes from 0.20 to 500 per spin. Neither the studio nor SlotCatalog publishes a volatility rating or a maximum win for this title.

A Casino Floor Behind the Reels

The reels sit in a gold frame in the middle of a casino hall. Rows of slot machines line both sides, and a green gaming table stretches out in the foreground. The WILD CRAPS logo on top has a small die in its middle. The symbols are the ones every fruit slot fan knows: cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons, golden bells and the red lucky 7.

The Dice Wild

The wild is a pair of dice with a WILD label under them. In our screenshots it landed on the second reel each time and completed lines for the fruits around it:

• grapes on several lines: 320.00 (16x the bet)
• watermelons on several lines: 120.00 (6x)
• plums on several lines: 100.00 (5x)

SlotCatalog also lists free spins with sticky wilds and scatter symbols for the game. We did not see the free spins round in our screenshots, so we can't describe its details beyond that.

What Our Spins Showed

We played at a bet of 2.00 per line on the 10 fixed lines, a total bet of 20.00. The game shows every win in both credits and dollars (1 credit = 0.01 USD). The biggest hit was a MEGA WIN of 520.00, 26 times the bet, with lucky 7s spread over several lines; the bottom bar showed one of them as “Line 8: 777, Win 100.00”.

Other wins on the screenshots:

• Cherries: a nearly full grid of cherries paid 180.00 (9x) over several lines.
• Lemons: 60.00 (3x) on crossing lines.

The 7s are clearly the symbol to watch: a single line of three 7s paid 100.00, which is 50 times the 2.00 line bet.

Stakes and the Line Bet

Because the ten lines are fixed, the total bet is always ten times the line bet. SlotCatalog's range of 0.20 to 500 per spin therefore means a line bet between 0.02 and 50. All of our screenshots were taken at the same setting, 2.00 per line and 20.00 in total, which makes the wins easy to compare: every 20.00 of winnings is one more multiple of the bet.

Reading the Win Screen

Wild Craps keeps the information panel simple. Under the reels you see the credit balance in dollars, the win of the current spin and the total bet, with a “Congratulations!” banner whenever a spin pays. Winning lines are drawn across the reels in thin yellow lines, and the big number in the middle of the grid shows the total for the spin. On the MEGA WIN screen the bottom bar also named the single best line, which is how we know that one line of three 7s is worth 100.00 at this stake.

Two Jackpots

At the bottom left the game shows jackpot meters. In our screenshots they alternated between the Diamond Jackpot, at 1,467.58, and the Platinum Jackpot, at 72.82. The small changes in the Diamond figure between screens (1,467.59 and 1,467.58) show that it is a live, progressive amount. The screenshots don't show how the jackpots are won, so we don't describe that here.

The Card Gamble

After a win, the Gamble button opens a card game with a history of the last cards drawn. You pick Black or Red. In our screenshot the gamble screen showed:

• Gamble to win: 320.00
• Gamble amount: 160.00

So the game lets you gamble half of a win and keep the rest: from a 320.00 win, 160.00 was on the table. Take Win ends the gamble at any time.

Controls

The control panel is typical for the studio: fixed lines at 10, a bet selector for the line stake, Gamble and Auto buttons, and a large Take Win button. A small replay icon on the right side of the reels lets you look back at recent spins.
