How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

25 Magic Plums is a VoltEnt (Wazdan) slot that throws away the usual reel logic: the screen is a five-by-five grid of 25 independent reels, and the base game has no regular symbols at all. Instead, the main game is a waiting room for special plum symbols, with a bonus called Hold the Jackpot that begins when five game symbols line up on the middle row. The bonus can end in a Grand Jackpot worth 1,000x the bet, which is also the game’s maximum win. The RTP is 96.14%, and the official release date is 10 November 2026.

A Board Without Paylines

Do not expect fruit symbols falling into rows. In the base game the 25 cells are empty parchment tiles, and a spin only drops special symbols onto them. The most important one is Cash Infinity, a red-framed plum that sticks to the reels until the bonus game is over and carries a prize of 1x to 5x your bet. The prize is only paid at the end of the bonus, so the symbol works as a down payment on the feature. Drawing five game symbols of any type on the middle row of the board starts the Hold the Jackpot bonus; in the demo, the screen announced it with a banner and a summary of the symbols that could appear.

Cash Out Countdown

A second base-game feature is Cash Out. A Cash Out symbol can land on any reel except the middle row, and it stays for 15 spins. When its countdown reaches zero, a prize of 1x to 5x the bet is awarded at random, and the cash, Cash Infinity, Mini, Minor and Major symbols that sit in the same row as the Cash Out symbol are paid out as well. It gives the quiet base game something to watch, because a row full of values can be turned into a real win without needing the bonus.

The Bonus Game In Detail

The bonus is played on all 25 cells. Every game symbol sticks in place, and you receive 3 respins; each time a new symbol lands, the counter returns to 3, so a lucky run keeps the round alive. It ends when the respins run out or when all 25 cells are filled. Several kinds of symbols can appear: cash symbols with 1x to 5x the bet, Mini, Minor and Major jackpot symbols, Collector symbols that gather all the values from the cash and Cash Infinity symbols, a Mystery symbol that turns into any other game symbol except Cash Infinity, and a Jackpot Mystery symbol that can only become a Mini, Minor or Major jackpot. The prizes are added up at the end of the round. This is a Hold and Spin style feature, and the Grand Jackpot is awarded for filling all 25 cells, at which point the values of the symbols on the board are not added on top.

In the demo, a bought round showed how the pieces fit together. The bonus began with a handful of plums plus a Cash Infinity symbol and a Mystery symbol, and when the respins ended, the Mystery turned into a Mini jackpot crate worth 10x. The Collector then ran along the board and added each plum in turn, with the total climbing from 6.00 to 8.00, 20.00 and 26.00 until the banner announced 27.00 on a 1.00 bet. The purchase had cost 75, so it was a losing round, but it shows how the totals are built.

Chance Level And The Buy Shop

The column of buttons on the left edge is the Chance Level control. It can be set to x2, x5 or x10, and each step multiplies the base bet by the same number while giving the bonus a higher chance of starting: at least twice, six times and thirteen times as likely, according to the rules. The paytable does not change, so the symbol values stay the same as at the base bet.

The shopping-cart button opens the Hold the Jackpot Bonus Game shop with four options. At a bet of 1.00 they cost 50 for Low, 75 for Standard, 150 for High and 300 for Extreme, and each card shows how many plums and Mystery symbols the round starts with. Extreme volatility is the top choice, with even bigger wins than the other levels. A Gamble button that offers a chance to double a win is also available in the control bar, along with a fast-play toggle and an autoplay menu with stop conditions.

Numbers And Limits

The RTP is 96.14%, the volatility is medium-high and the maximum win is 1,000x the bet. The jackpot plaques show Mini at 10x, Minor at 20x, Major at 30x and Grand at 1,000x. Bets in the demo run from 0.60 up to 100.00, with quick-select buttons at 0.60, 0.80, 1.00, 2.00 and 100.00.

Is It For You?

Choose this game if you like unusual layouts and want a bonus that you can reach directly through a shop. The base game is intentionally sparse, so it suits players who enjoy collecting symbols and watching a counter more than line wins. If you are looking for classic payline play, other Wazdan slots will fit better.
