3 Roaring Bells: Hold and Win is a compact fruit slot from Playson, released on 15 October 2026. The reels are a tiny 3x3 grid with 5 paylines, set against a hot magenta background where three golden bells burn with flames above the board. The RTP is 95.36%, the volatility is medium-high and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet. Classic fruit symbols carry the base game, and a Hold and Win bonus with three special bells makes the real action.

Fruits, Sevens And Burning Bells

The base game looks like an old-school fruit machine that was given a modern coat of paint. Pears, strawberries, cherries, grapes, plums and watermelon halves fill the board, the red 777 is the top paying symbol and the golden bell is the key symbol of the game. Above the reels, three flaming bells labeled Double, Extra and Expand show the bonus features, and the four jackpot values sit around the logo. On the left of the grid you can see a Double Chance switch and an orange Bonus shopping-cart button, and on the right there are the autoplay, spin and turbo buttons.

Five Lines On A Small Grid

With only nine positions on the screen, wins come from the five paylines, and the paytable is short. Three red sevens pay 50x the bet, three watermelons pay 30x, and the other fruits pay less. The red 777 is also the Wild, and it substitutes for the fruit symbols but not for the bells. Bets run from 0.20 to 100 per spin, so the game suits both small and larger stakes.

Reading The Screen

Everything you need sits in a clear layout. The credit counter and the last win are on the bottom left, and the bet selector with its minus and plus buttons is at the bottom center. In the demo the credit starts at 11,000 with a default bet of 1.00, and a round button on the right switches to turbo play when you hold it. The info button opens the rules, and the jackpot panel above the grid always shows the four fixed prizes, so you can see what a lucky bonus could pay before it starts.

The Hold and Win Bonus

The bonus starts when a Bell lands on each of the three reels. You get 3 respins, and every new Bell that lands sets the counter back to three, which is the classic Hold and Spin rhythm that fans of this genre know well. The Bells carry coin values, and the total of all the values on the screen is paid at the end of the bonus. During the bonus, a Collect symbol can also appear, but only on the middle reel.

Double, Extra And Expand

Three special bells decide how rich a bonus can get, and one, two or all three of them can be active when the bonus starts:

  • the green Double bell doubles the Bell values in four marked positions, and in six positions when Expand is active as well;
  • the blue Extra bell awards a second Bonus Game after the first one has ended;
  • the red Expand bell grows the field from 3x3 to 3x5, which gives 15 positions instead of 9.

When all three are active, the bonus has more room, doubled values and a second round in store, and that combination is where the high end of the 10,000x cap lives.

Four Fixed Jackpots

Besides the coin values, the bonus can also land jackpot symbols. The four fixed jackpots are Mini 15x, Minor 30x, Major 100x and Grand 1,000x the bet. In the second bonus round of our test, jackpot symbols of the Minor and Mini levels appeared among the coins, which shows that the lower prizes are not hard to find once the grid gets crowded.

Our Super Bonus Round

We bought the Super Bonus at a stake of 1, which cost 200. The game first showed a “Bonus Game” screen with Extra, Double and Expand all lit up, with the short notes “Awards additional Bonus Game”, “Doubles random values” and “Grows field to 3x5”. After a tap, the grid caught fire, grew to the taller 3x5 shape and filled with coins worth from 1 up to 30, many of them marked with a x2 flag in the doubled positions. The counter at the top showed Bonus 1, and later Bonus 2, so the Extra bell did its job. The respins ran at a calm pace.

Extra Bet And Buy Bonus

The Double Chance switch raises the stake by 50% (the bet of 1 became 1.50) and doubles the probability of triggering the bonus. The orange Bonus button opens a purchase menu with two options:

  • the Bonus Game for 75x the bet, with one, two or all three special bells at random;
  • the Super Bonus for 200x, with Double, Expand and Extra all guaranteed.

The bet can be changed inside the menu, so the price updates at once.

RTP, Volatility And Max Win

The RTP of the game is 95.36%, and the volatility is medium-high. The base game pays fairly often on the five lines, but the large results depend on the bonus and its special bells. All wins in the bonus are capped at 10,000x the bet. A bet range of 0.20 to 100 keeps the game open to many types of players.

Compact But Rich

3 Roaring Bells suits players who like Hold and Win games with a clear, readable board and a few well-defined upgrades. The small grid keeps the tempo quick, the three special bells make every bonus different, and the Super Bonus option lets you go straight to the version with all upgrades. If you prefer large animated grids and long bonus sequences, this one is simpler, but its short, bright rounds are easy to enjoy.
