5 Keys of Fate is a five-line slot from Felix Gaming set in a torchlit royal chamber, with a red velvet throne behind the reels and a heavy golden key on the title screen. The game was published on 13 October 2026 and runs on the Alea platform. It is built around one clean idea: keys and locks. Keys land only on the first reel and carry multipliers, locks drop onto the other four reels and hide cash prizes, and when a key and a lock meet in the same spin, the vault opens. The maximum exposure is 1,800x the total bet.

The Throne Room Reels

The board is a standard five-by-three grid with 5 fixed paylines, shown on the paylines page as three straight rows and two zig-zag shapes. All wins pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from reel 1, only the highest win on a line is paid, and simultaneous wins on different lines are added together. The symbols are royal-chamber items: a jewelled ring, an antique compass, a sealed scroll, a feather in an inkwell, plus the four card suits, with clubs in blue, hearts in red, diamonds in green and spades in purple. The sign at the bottom of the screen says “Win up to 1800 x bet”, and the jackpot counters across the top display four growing amounts, labelled Minor, Major, Mega and Grand.

What The Symbols Pay

The demo starts with a stake of 0.15 and lists payouts in cash for that stake. A line of five rings pays 30.00, four pay 12.00 and three pay 1.20. The compass is next with 15.00, 4.80 and 1.20, then the scroll with 12.00, 2.40 and 0.60. The feather and the club both pay 6.00, 1.20 and 0.60, while the heart, diamond and spade are the low symbols at 3.00, 0.60 and 0.30. In terms of the total bet, five rings equal 200x, five compasses 100x, five scrolls 80x, and five feathers or clubs 40x.

The Keys Of Fate Scatter

The golden “Keys of Fate” plaque is the scatter. It can land on every reel, pays anywhere on the screen and is multiplied by the total bet rather than a line bet. At the 0.15 demo stake, five scatters pay 75.00, four pay 3.00 and three pay 0.75, which is 500x, 20x and 5x the total bet. Scatter wins are added to line wins, and key multipliers do not apply to them. In one of the first demo spins, three scatters appeared side by side on the bottom row.

Bronze, Silver And Golden Keys

The three Key Wilds appear on reel 1 only. They substitute for all regular paying symbols, except the scatter and the lock, and each carries a multiplier: the Bronze Key x1, the Silver Key x2 and the Golden Key x3. When a key is part of a winning line, the win of that combination is multiplied by its value. A Golden Key in the first position of a ring line, for instance, triples the whole line.

How The Lock Feature Works

Lock symbols appear on reels 2 to 5. On their own, locks do nothing, but when at least one key and one or more locks are visible in the same spin, every visible lock opens, wherever it sits on the grid. Each lock hides one of seven prizes: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 20x or 50x the total bet. The values of all opened locks are added together and then multiplied by the highest key multiplier on the screen, so a Golden Key with several locks makes the sum three times bigger. The keys are not added together or multiplied by each other, and the lock prizes are paid on top of any other wins in the spin.

The best case is easy to picture: a Golden Key on reel 1 with four locks on the other reels, one of them hiding 50x, would turn into a strong payout without any line win at all. It is also why the lock feature is the part to watch while you play, because a single spin can lift the balance by many times the bet.

A Short Demo Session

Most spins in the demo returned nothing, which fits a low-volatility line slot with only five lines. The highlight came on a spin with three scatters on the board: the game showed a BIG WIN banner and the summary line read WIN 1.65, with the three scatters worth 0.75 and a short line win adding the remaining 0.90. At a stake of 0.15, that is 11x the total bet, a good example of how the scatter and the line wins are added together.

RTP, Volatility And Bets

Felix Gaming publishes three RTP versions for this slot: 96.47%, 94.65% and 92.50%, so check which one your casino runs. The volatility is low to medium, the game has five paylines, and the bet limits go from 0.05 to 100 per spin. A turbo mode is available by holding the start button, and an autoplay button sits next to the spin control.

Who It Is For

5 Keys of Fate suits players who want a light, easy-to-follow slot with one special feature and a themed look. The paytable is simple, the lock prizes give a clear target, and the line count keeps the cost of a spin low. The feature set is modest, but the key and lock combination is enough to hold attention in a short session.
