Amigo Monkey 2 Overview

Amigo Monkey 2 is a jungle slot from Amigo Gaming, released in October 2024 as the sequel to the studio’s Amigo Monkey. A cheerful monkey in a sombrero swings from a branch beside the reels, and the game plays on a wide 6x4 grid with 40 fixed paylines. Amigo rates the volatility as high and gives a top multiplier of x2,000. Stakes run from 0.40 to 100. Amigo Gaming does not publish the RTP on its own game page.

Amigo’s own description sums up the game: banana symbols fall from the sky to create winning combinations, and when coconuts appear you get a chance at a jackpot. The official feature list reads Expanding Wild, Scatter, Random Wilds and Instant Pays.

The Four Jackpots

Four jackpot plaques sit above the reels, and they scale with the bet. At a €100 stake they read:

• ULTRA: €10,000 – 100x the bet
• MAX: €5,000 – 50x
• MID: €2,500 – 25x
• MIN: €1,500 – 15x

The ULTRA prize is exactly one twentieth of the game’s x2,000 ceiling, so the biggest wins come from the reels and the wilds rather than from the jackpots alone.

Stakes and Lines

All forty lines are always active, so the bet is simply divided between them. The minimum of 0.40 is one cent per line; the maximum of 100 is 2.50 per line. The win panel under the reels always shows how many lines paid on the last spin – “Lines played: 20”, “Lines played: 30” – which makes it easy to see how far a wild has spread its effect.

The Paytable

Symbols pay for three to six of a kind. At a €100 bet:

• Amigo Monkey: €5,000 / €1,000 / €500 / €100 for six, five, four and three – 50x for a full line
• Parrot and chameleon: €2,000 / €500 / €200 / €50

The card-suit symbols – hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds – are the low end of the table, and with forty lines they combine often.

Banana Wilds

The bananas are the heart of the game. A bunch of bananas with a WILD label can appear across the grid, and in our screenshots they covered a large part of the reels at once. One spin with banana wilds spread over reels two to six paid €2,137.50 on 20 lines – more than 21x the bet. Another, with bananas stacked on reels two to five and parrots on the first reel, paid €1,300 on five lines.

The monkey’s sombrero is a wild as well: in one spin a column of sombrero WILDs filled reel two and linked red hearts on both sides, for €636.75 on 30 lines.

Coconuts With Cash Values

The coconuts carry cash values printed on them. At a €100 bet we saw €25, €75, €100, €125 and €300 – from a quarter of the bet up to 3x. They are the “instant pays” of the feature list, and they are linked to the jackpots: Amigo’s description says that when coconuts appear you have the chance to win a jackpot. In our screenshots a dozen or more coconuts landed across all six reels in a single spin.

What Our Spins Showed

Beyond the big wild spins, the screenshots show how the card symbols carry the base game. One spin lined up glowing blue spades across the first four reels and paid €250 on 20 lines – exactly twenty times the €12.50 three-of-a-kind value. It is a good illustration of the 40-line grid: a common symbol can pay on half the lines at once.

How the Pieces Compare

Set side by side, the numbers explain the game’s shape. A full line of six monkeys pays 50x; the MIN jackpot alone is worth 15x, more than five monkeys on a line. The coconuts sit in between, at a quarter of the bet to 3x each – small individually, but a screen with a dozen of them adds up quickly. And the banana wilds are the multiplier on everything else: our 21x spin came from ordinary symbols joined together by bananas, not from a premium line.

That balance is typical of Amigo’s recent design. The base symbols stay modest, and the variance comes from features that land across the whole grid at once. With high volatility, expect quiet stretches between the spins where bananas or coconuts arrive in numbers.

The 40 Paylines

The lines page shows all forty patterns on the six-by-four grid: the four straight rows first, then V shapes, zig-zags and steps that travel between the upper and lower rows. Wins pay from the leftmost reel, and a six-reel line needs a symbol on every column to pay the top value.

Graphics and Setting

The reels are set in a carved wooden frame hung with vines, against a bright rainforest of palms and waterfalls. The monkey sits on a branch to the left, waving in his striped sombrero. The symbols are rounded and colourful: a red and blue parrot, a green chameleon, a hummingbird, and card suits in glossy red, blue, green and purple.
