The grid is built from bamboo poles and rope, set against a bright tropical jungle with palm leaves, pink flowers and a sunny beach in the background. Three Bongo wilds pay 10x the bet on a line, and three guavas 5x. The rules describe the lines simply: “Winning combinations occur when matching symbols appear consecutively starting from the leftmost reel.”

Five Lines On Nine Positions

On a 3x3 grid, five lines most likely means the three rows plus the two diagonals, and the game draws each paying line across the reels in purple. The middle position sits on three of the five lines – the middle row and both diagonals – so a Bongo wild landing in the centre helps more lines than anywhere else. The corners sit on two lines each, and the edge positions in between on just one.

That geometry explains why wins come often but stay small in the base game: most spins can only form one or two lines, and the values run from 0.2x to 10x the bet.

The Fruit Ladder

The paytable is a steady ladder from the humble watermelon to the guava. Three watermelons are worth just a fifth of the bet, pineapples 0.4x, mangos 0.6x and coconuts 1x. Bananas pay 1.6x, dragon fruit 2x, star fruit 3x and guavas 5x, with three Bongo wilds on top at 10x. In our screenshots the higher fruits – dragon fruit and guava – were the ones that produced the clearest wins with the help of a wild.

Bongo Is Wild

With only three reels, a single wild makes a big difference. In one of our spins at a bet of 10, dragon fruits on the first two reels met a Bongo wild at the top of the third reel, and the line paid 20 – exactly the value of three dragon fruits. In another, a guava on the first reel joined two Bongo wilds in the middle row for a line win of 50, the full guava value.

Bongo also has an animated moment. In one screenshot he leaps out across the left side of the grid with a fist in the air while wilds land on the reels, and the spin paid 20. With three Bongo wilds on the grid, another spin paid 22.

Four Jackpots
