Burning Flower is a classic slot from CT Gaming, released on 24 October 2025. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 5 fixed lines, runs at low to medium volatility and takes bets from 0.05 to 200. The top prize is 3,000x the line bet. A white orchid wild, two separate scatters and a card gamble round out a deliberately old-fashioned machine.

Fruit In A Furnace

The reels sit in a slim green frame surrounded by a wall of orange flame, with a pile of gold coins at the bottom of the screen. The BURNING FLOWER logo burns above the grid, and the number of lines is printed down both sides – 5 on the left under the word LINES and the word FIXED on the right, because you cannot change them.

The symbols are the classics with one intruder: peaches, plums, apples, cherries, a golden bell, a horseshoe, a gold coin and a red 7. The flower of the title is a white orchid, and it is the wild.

The Paytable

The game rules screen lists the values in credits. At the 2.00 line bet our screenshots were played at:

Red 7 – 6,000 / 400 / 100 / 20
Star scatter – 1,000 / 200 / 30
Horseshoe – 1,000 / 200 / 80
Gold coin – 1,000 / 200 / 80
Bell – 400 / 100 / 40
Bananas scatter – 200 for three

The red 7 is the only symbol that pays for two of a kind, at 20 credits. Five of them pay 6,000 – that is 3,000x the 2.00 line bet, and it is where the game’s advertised 3,000x maximum comes from. Measured against the 10.00 total bet of all five lines, the same win is 600x. It is worth keeping the two figures apart, because CT’s data sheets quote the per-line one.

An Orchid On Three Reels Only

The wild is restricted. The rules state that the orchid “appears on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels” and substitutes for everything except the two scatters. The first and last reels never carry it, which is why a five-of-a-kind still needs the real symbol at both ends of the line.

When it does land it tends to land in numbers. Three orchids stacked down the middle reels appeared repeatedly in our screenshots, and the banner across the top of the grid switched to “IS WILD” each time to make the point.

Two Different Scatters

Burning Flower has two. The gold star pays anywhere for three, four or five – 30, 200 and 1,000 credits – and the bunch of bananas pays 200 for three, with the note that it “appears on 1st, 3rd and 5th reels only”. Two scatters on separate reel sets in a five-line classic is unusual, and it gives the base game a second source of wins that ignores the paylines entirely.

What The Lines Paid

At a 10.00 total bet our session produced a steady run of small line wins, each one labelled with the line that paid:

Line 2 – 20.00
Line 4 – 20.00
Line 5 – 60.00, twice
Line 1 – 60.00
Line 5 – 80.00

The WINNER PAID box showed 120.00 and 140.00 when two lines hit together. Against the 10.00 stake those are wins of 2x to 14x, and the cash meter barely moved across the whole sequence – from 99,860.00 down to 99,680.00 and back up again. That is exactly what low to medium volatility looks like: small, frequent, rarely dramatic.

The Card Gamble

The button in the bottom left marked x2 is the gamble, not a multiplier on the spin. Pressing it opens a card screen with a face-down deck and two ways to bet:

Colour gamble – pick red or black for x2
Suit gamble – pick one of the four suits for x4

Above the card is a strip labelled LAST CARD and 10 PREVIOUS CARDS, showing the history of what the deck has dealt – spades, hearts and diamonds in our screenshot. In our round an 80.00 win was gambled on the colour, the queen of spades came up, the screen read YOU WIN! and the win became 160.00. A counter in the corner showed 1/2, so the number of consecutive gambles is capped.

No RTP On The Sheet

One number is missing. CT Gaming has not published a return-to-player figure for Burning Flower, the slot catalogues list it as N/A, and the value does not appear on the rules screen either – so we have left the field empty rather than quote a number we cannot stand behind. What the sources do agree on is the shape of the game: low to medium variance and a 3,000x per-line ceiling.

In practice the variance matters more than the missing percentage. A five-line classic with two scatters and no bonus round pays out in small, regular instalments, and the only place a session can change direction is the red 7 line or a lucky run on the gamble ladder.

What The Bet Changes

Everything above scales with the stake. Our screenshots were taken at a 2.00 line bet and a 10.00 total bet, with the coin denomination set to 0.01. At the 0.05 minimum every figure is 200 times smaller, and at the 200 maximum the five-line total is twenty times larger – five red 7s would be worth 120,000 credits.

More From CT Gaming

CT builds a lot of variations on this frame. 100 Burning Brilliants takes the same burning classic look to a hundred lines, 10 Blazing Treasures sits in between at ten, and Easter Bird shows the studio’s gamble screen on a completely different theme.

Who It Is For

Burning Flower is for players who like a genuine old-style machine: five fixed lines, no cascades, no buy menu, no meter to fill. The wins come regularly and stay small, the two scatters add a little variety, and the gamble is there if you want to turn 80 into 160 – or into nothing. The 3,000x per-line ceiling on five red sevens is the one big target, and it is a long way from the base game’s usual rhythm.
