Features we found: free spins, bonus buy, multiplier, cascade
Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Carnival Bonanza OverviewCarnival Bonanza is a BGaming slot played on a 6x5 grid with the Pay Anywhere system: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen form a win. The published RTP is 96%, the volatility is high, and the maximum win is 14,134x the stake. It was released on 8 October 2024. Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in from above, so one spin can pay several times. The free spins add multiplier coins and a progress bar that raises their values, and there is both a Buy Bonus and a Chance x2 option. The published bet range runs from 0.20 to 22.50 per spin, although the maximum stake can differ from casino to casino. All figures below were read from the demo at a 10.00 FUN base bet. A Medieval FairThe grid stands inside a striped red circus tent, with pennants, colourful stalls and a castle on the hill behind it. A cheerful red dragon sits on a pedestal to the left of the reels and holds up a sign when the bonus is active. The symbols fit the theme: a dragon in a picture frame, a hobby horse, a sword, a horned helmet and a foaming tankard, plus four ornate letters, A, K, Q and J. A green bag of gold coins is the scatter. On the right, a wooden signpost carries the Buy Bonus button and the Chance x2 switch. In the free spins the scene turns to night, with a full moon over the tents. The PaytableEvery symbol pays in three bands: 8–9, 10–11 and 12 or more on the screen. At the 10.00 bet the paytable reads: The dragon pays 100.00, 250.00 and 500.00, or up to 50x the bet. The hobby horse pays 25.00, 100.00 and 250.00, the sword 20.00, 50.00 and 150.00, the helmet 15.00, 20.00 and 120.00, and the tankard 10.00, 15.00 and 100.00. The letters pay less: A 8.00 to 80.00, K 5.00 to 50.00, Q 4.00 to 40.00, and J 2.50 to 20.00. The smallest win in the game, eight or nine J symbols, returns only a quarter of the stake. The jump to the top band is steep for every symbol. Ten or eleven dragons pay 25x, but twelve pay 50x, so a cascade that adds one or two more dragons to the screen can double the win. The gap between the two symbol groups is just as clear. Twelve or more A symbols pay 80.00, which is still less than the dragon's lowest band of eight or nine at 100.00. The Scatter Pays TooThe green coin bag is the scatter. Four, five or six of them pay 3x, 5x and 100x the bet on their own, before the free spins even start. In our session, four bags landed in one spin, the signpost switched to "Bonus Active", and the total win showed 30.00, exactly the 3x scatter prize at the 10.00 bet. Cascading Wins in PracticeThe base game has no multipliers, so the cascades are where it earns its money. Winning symbols are removed, the gaps are filled from above, and the sequence continues while new wins form. The screenshots show small wins marked directly on the grid: +9.00 on one spin and +10.00 on another, the second one with Chance x2 switched on. Both are modest, which is typical for the lower bands of the paytable. On another spin the dragons filled large parts of the middle rows, which is the kind of screen that can reach the top band of 12 or more. Free Spins and Multiplier CoinsFour, five or six scatters award 10, 20 or 30 free spins. Our four bags brought a "Congratulations! You've won 10 Free Spins" screen. According to the game's description, three or more scatters during the round add 5 extra free spins. In the free spins, multiplier coins can land on the grid. They stay until the cascade ends, and then their values are added together and applied to the total win of that spin. On the fourth free spin of our round a x5 coin landed, and the banner above the grid showed 25.50 FUN x 5. The Progress BarTo the right of the grid runs a tall progress bar with a star at the top and the values x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x12 and x15 printed on it. The bar controls how much the multiplier coins are worth. According to the game description, the bar starts at level 0 with coin values of x2, x3 and x5. Each low symbol that pays for the first time in the round raises the level by one, each high symbol by two, and at the higher levels the coins can reach x100. That is how the round can climb towards the 14,134x ceiling. Our round stood at a total win of 105.50 on the fourth spin, and when we later opened the paytable, the display showed a 207.50 total win and a balance of 1,222.50. Buy Bonus and Chance x2The Buy Free Spins window offers the round for 1,000.00 at the 10.00 bet, which is 100x the stake. The price follows the bet, which can be changed with the plus and minus buttons in the same window. Chance x2 costs 2.50 extra at the 10.00 bet, which raises the total bet to 12.50, or 25% more. It adds scatters to the reels and so increases the chance of triggering the free spins. The two options cannot be used together. Who Should Play ItCarnival Bonanza suits players who enjoy the Pay Anywhere style and want a free-spin round that builds up over time. The progress bar gives the bonus a clear goal, and the 14,134x ceiling is high. The high volatility is the other side of that: the base game pays small amounts, and most of the value is locked in the free spins.
