Cave of Clovers

Cave of Clovers is an Irish luck slot from CT Gaming, released on 30 November 2025. It plays on a 5x4 grid with 100 fixed paylines and takes bets from 0.10 to 10. A four-leaf clover wild, a leprechaun scatter that pays up to 500x the bet, stacked fruit and lucky symbols, and CT’s classic card gamble give this compact game a lot of line action.

Treasure In The Cave

The reels sit in a dark cave lit by a greenish glow, with rocky walls and a misty entrance behind the grid. The “Cave of Clovers” logo in orange letters runs along the top and alternates with a banner showing that the clover “is Wild”. Tall red line markers, all reading 100, run down both sides with the words Lines and Fixed.

The symbols mix lucky charms and fruit: a green four-leaf clover, a bearded leprechaun in a green hat, a gold clover coin, a golden horseshoe with a flame, a golden bell, a peach, a plum and cherries.

The Paytable

At a total bet of 10 the paytable shows these values for five, four and three of a kind:

The leprechaun scatter is the big prize: five of them pay 500x the bet, and even three pay 5x. The rules state that the clover wild “substitutes for all other symbols, except” the leprechaun.

A Hundred Lines

With 100 lines on only 20 positions, the lines cover the grid very densely, and stacked symbols pay on many lines at once. Our screenshots at a total bet of 10 show it well. Peaches stacked on the first two reels and the third reel paid 19, with the game highlighting line 39. Clover coins filling most of the first three reels next to a wall of horseshoes on the fourth and fifth reels paid 126 – 12.6x the bet. Stacks of clover wilds on the second and fifth reels connected plums, horseshoes and peaches for 52.

Leprechaun Scatters

The leprechaun pays anywhere on the grid. In one spin three leprechauns landed diagonally across the first three reels, and the game reported “Scatters: = 50.00” – exactly the three-scatter value, 5x the bet. Four and five leprechauns jump to 200 and 5,000.

Five Of A Kind

Big line hits are celebrated with a giant “5 of a Kind” message across the grid. Our screenshot shows it with plums, peaches, a horseshoe and stacked clover wilds on the reels, and the win box then showed the 52 described above.

The Clover Wild On A Crowded Grid

The clover pays well on its own – five of them are worth 10x the bet – but its real job is joining the other symbols. On a grid with 100 lines, a column of four clovers on a middle reel sits on a large share of all lines at once. In our 52 spin, clover stacks on the second and fifth reels linked plums and horseshoes across many line patterns, while the cherries, plums and peaches only needed matching partners on the neighbouring reels.

A Balanced Session

At a total bet of 10 our cash balance moved between about 99,593 and 99,882 over the screenshots. Wins of 19 to 126 – about 2x to 12.6x the bet – appeared regularly, and the scatter paid 5x once. That is typical of a 100-line game: frequent wins from stacked symbols, with the leprechaun scatter and the gamble providing the bigger jumps.

The Card Gamble

After a win, CT’s gamble is available. A face-down card sits in the middle with a strip of the 10 previous cards above it and the message “Choose color or suit”. The Lucky Symbols

The theme is packed with traditional Irish good-luck charms. The four-leaf clover is famously rare – only a tiny share of clover plants grow a fourth leaf – which is why it has become a symbol of luck. The horseshoe is hung above doors for good fortune, and the leprechaun of Irish folklore is said to guard a pot of gold. In the game, these charms are ranked: the leprechaun as the scatter at the top, the clover as the wild, and the gold clover coin as the best regular symbol.

What The Bet Changes

Our screenshots show a line bet of 0.10 on each of the 100 lines, for a total of 10, with a denomination of 0.01. All values scale with that stake: at the maximum total bet of 10 five leprechauns pay 5,000, and at the minimum of 0.10 they pay 50. A line of three fruits returns just a tenth of the stake, which is why stacks and many simultaneous lines matter so much.
