Circus Hunting Overview

Circus Hunting is not a slot. It is a multiplayer shooting game from KA Gaming with a 96% RTP and medium-high volatility, released on 11 June 2025.

It is the same engine as the studio’s underwater shooters, moved into a big top: instead of fish you shoot circus performers, and instead of a reef the arena is a sawdust ring. There is no pay table, no betways figure and no published maximum win – the format does not work that way, and we have not invented one. All figures below were read from demo play at a $3.00 stake.

Theme and Graphics

The arena is the inside of a circus tent: red and gold drapes swagged across the top of the screen, spotlights cutting down from the rigging, and a wooden ring floor that fills the lower two thirds.

The cast is the act itself. Grey elephants balance on painted balls in a row along the left, white cats swing on trapezes from the roof, penguins waddle across the boards, monkeys ride unicycles, and a pair of foxes in jester costume juggle on the right-hand edge. Between them come the smaller targets: bears, acrobats, little red imps with pitchforks and carousel horses on striped plinths.

The Wheel Targets

The feature that separates this from an ordinary shooter is the spinning wheels. Large circular carousel discs drift into the ring, each with a cash figure printed across the middle, and they are the biggest prizes on the board.

The captures catch three of them: a small orange wheel at $36.00, a larger blue and pink one at $300.00, and the best of the session at $609.00.

At the $3.00 stake those are 12x, 100x and 203x the cost of a shot. A single wheel is worth more than a hundred ordinary kills, which is why the whole table turns to face one when it appears.

The Coin Shower

When a big target goes down the screen fills with falling gold coins, each with its value beside it. The figures on screen at once read $5.00, $6.00, $9.00, $20.00, $24.00 and $45.00 – a spread from under two times the shot to fifteen times it, all resolving together.

It is the clearest illustration of how a shooter pays. There is no single number: the result is dozens of small awards arriving at once, and the balance moves in one step.

A Shared Table

Two banners sit at the bottom of the screen reading WAITING FOR PLAYER, one for each empty seat. The targets crossing the ring are shared, so at a full table you compete for the same wheels – and a performer someone else finishes is one you have paid to shoot at and not collected.

The Jackpot Meter

A counter runs across the top of the screen in two lines: a dollar figure and a credit figure beneath it. The captures show it at $100,378.74, then 100,117.74, then $99,751.74.

It moves downward as the session goes on and ticks back up, which is the behaviour of a shared pool rather than a fixed prize – it is being fed by play and drawn down by wins, and the credit figure underneath it stays fixed at 460,786,990.

The Controls

KA Gaming keeps the interface to a strip along the bottom edge. A white rabbit in a top hat sits at the left as the player avatar, with the stake beneath him at $3.00 and a second field showing $18.00. A padlock icon beside them is the lock-target control familiar from the studio’s fish shooters, with a pink power-up button on the other side.

How the Balance Moved

The readings across the captured run are 100,378.74, 100,117.74, 99,751.74 and 99,754.74. That is the shooter pattern in miniature: a steady drain of a few hundred as shots are fired, then a small step back up when something resolves. Against those movements, the $609.00 wheel is the single event that mattered in the whole session.

Who Should Play It

Circus Hunting suits players who want an arcade game rather than a spinning one, and who like the shooter format but have had enough of reefs. The big top is a genuinely fresh setting for it, the artwork is detailed and warm, and the wheel targets give the board a clear focal point that most fish shooters lack.

What it does not offer is a published ceiling or a pay table you can study in advance – you learn the values by shooting things. With a medium-high rating and a 96% return, expect a long session of small awards punctuated by the occasional wheel.
