Cluster Cup is a football slot from Caleta Gaming, released on 28 April 2026 ahead of the summer’s World Cup. It plays on a large 7x7 grid with cluster pays, and Caleta itself calls it a high-volatility game. Bets run from 0.10 to 300. The RTP is listed as 93.45%, and the demo shows 93.42% in its top corner – lower than most modern slots, so it is worth knowing before you play. Tumbling wins, multiplier tiles, wild footballs and a free spins round are the main features.

A Stadium Full Of Light

The grid stands in the middle of a floodlit stadium, with a blurred crowd in the stands, a green pitch below and a bright green corner flag on the right. To the left of the reels stands the game’s mascot: a young footballer with curly hair and goggles pushed up on his forehead, wearing a red number 07 shirt and a captain’s armband. When the free spins start, he strikes a pose with lightning around his legs and the stadium lights turn cold blue.

The high symbols are a golden trophy with green laurel leaves, a red football boot and a blue whistle. The low symbols are chunky K, Q and J letters in orange, purple and green. The wild is a football on fire with WILD written underneath, and the scatter is a flaming ball labelled Free Spins.

The screen is laid out like a scoreboard: the win for the current spin is shown in a large green counter above the grid, the Buy Feature board hangs on the right, and a round spin button, a bet button and a turbo button sit along the bottom next to the balance, bet and win.

How Clusters Pay

There are no paylines. You need at least five matching symbols that touch horizontally or vertically, and the bigger the group, the more it pays. The rules list six size bands, from 5–7 symbols up to 32 or more:

Trophy – 5x, 20x, 50x, 100x, 200x and 400x
Boot – 3x, 15x, 30x, 60x, 90x and 200x
Whistle – 2x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 60x and 100x
K – 1x, 4x, 8x, 15x, 30x and 60x
Q – 1x, 3x, 6x, 10x, 12x and 40x
J – 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 10x and 20x

These values are not multiples of the total bet. In our base game, a cluster of trophies paid €20 on a €100 bet and a large group of green Js paid €40, so the numbers in the table apply to a smaller unit of the stake. What the table does show clearly is the shape of the game: small clusters pay very little, and the real money sits in groups of 16 or more, where the trophy jumps to 200x and 400x.

A 7x7 grid holds 49 symbols, and with only six paying symbols plus wilds, small groups of five to seven form all the time. That keeps the reels busy, but those small clusters return only a fraction of the bet. Our screenshots show it well: the same base game screen with trophies, boots and whistles spread across the grid produced just one paying trophy group, while two Free Spins scatters and a wild landed around it without adding anything.

Tumbles, Multipliers And Super Tricks

Winning clusters disappear and new symbols fall in, so one spin can keep paying. The game adds a Tumble Timer symbol that cracks open to reveal a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x, which is added to a multiplier counter. In our screenshots a green tile marked 02 sits right inside the winning cluster of Js, and during free spins a red 01 tile appears on the grid.

When three or more tumbles happen in the same spin, one of four Super Tricks can kick in: Wild Shots, Symbol Exchange, Red Cards or Big Gloves, each changing the grid in its own way. The wild football substitutes for every symbol except the Free Spins scatter and other wilds.

Free Spins

You need five or more Free Spins symbols to trigger the round. One of our base game spins shows exactly that: five flaming scatters spread across the grid, bursting into flames at the same moment.

In free spins the multiplier score does not reset between spins, which is where Cluster Cup gets its high volatility. Our round had 8 free spins on the counter. One spin paid €200 for a huge block of blue whistles filling the bottom two rows, another screenshot shows wild footballs scattered all over the grid at once, and the win counter for that spin climbed to €315 – 6.3x the €50 bet.

Buy Feature

The Buy Feature board opens a Free Spins purchase screen with its own bet selector. At a €50 bet the feature costs €4,175, which works out to 83.5x the bet. That is a fairly steep price, especially with a 93.42% RTP in the demo.

What The RTP Means

An RTP of 93.42% means that, over a very long run, the game is set to pay back about €93.42 for every €100 wagered. Many modern slots sit around 96%, so the difference is roughly €2.50 more per €100 staked in the casino’s favour. In a single session luck matters far more than that, but over many sessions the gap adds up. Some casinos may offer a different RTP version, so it is worth checking the number shown in the game before you start.

Who It Is For

Cluster Cup is made for football fans who like big grids and features that build up during a spin. The multiplier counter that stays in place during free spins can lead to big wins, but small clusters pay very little and the RTP is on the low side. It suits patient players with a suitable budget more than anyone looking for steady small wins.
