Game for Tuna is a deep-sea fishing slot from CT Gaming, released on 15 March 2026. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 30 fixed paylines, returns 96.58% at medium to high volatility, and takes bets from 0.30 to 180. The top prize is 5,000x the bet. A fishing lure wild on the middle reels, a tuna scatter that pays up to 500x and awards 15 free games, and CT’s classic card gamble make up the features.

Under The Ocean Surface

The reels float just below the surface of a clear turquoise sea, with sunlight glittering on the water, green islands on the horizon and coral reefs on the sandy bottom. A fishing net is stretched across the grid, and the “Game for Tuna” logo in orange and gold sits at the top. From time to time the logo is replaced by a message such as “3 or more [tuna] = 15 Free Games” or “[lure] is Wild”. Line numbers – all marked 30 – run down both sides with the words Lines and Fixed.

The symbols are a fisherman’s kit and his catch: a yellow tuna, a boat throttle, a pink squid, a golden fishing reel and a green tackle box, plus A, K, Q and J in bright glossy colours. The wild is a colourful fishing lure with a hook.

The Paytable

All our screenshots were taken at a total bet of 180. At that stake the paytable shows these values for five, four and three of a kind:

Tuna (scatter) – 90,000 / 9,000 / 900
Boat throttle – 6,000 / 600 / 210
Squid – 1,200 / 210 / 30
Fishing reel and tackle box – 600 / 150 / 30
A – 600 / 60 / 30
K – 300 / 60 / 30

Five tuna scatters are worth 500x the bet, and five boat throttles 33x. The squid pays surprisingly little for three but jumps sharply for five.

The Lure Wild

The rules say the lure “appears on 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels only. Substitutes for all other symbols, except for [tuna]”. It often lands stacked, and our screenshots show how much it adds on 30 lines. With lures on the second, third and fourth reels and Ks stacked on the first and fourth reels, one spin paid 1,020 – 5.7x the bet – across many lines at once.

In another spin two stacked lures on the third reel joined Ks on the first two reels for 210, and a column of three fishing reels on the first reel connected with lures for another 210.

Line Wins

The game names the paying line under the reels. One of our screenshots shows “Line 9: [3 throttles] = 210.00” – exactly the three-of-a-kind value for the boat throttle – with a tuna scatter and a lure wild on the grid in the same spin. Fishing reels, squids and lures together produced a 270 win in another spin.

Tuna Scatters And Free Games

The yellow tuna with the word Scatter is the key to the bonus. The banner above the reels says it plainly: three or more tuna award 15 free games. The tuna also pays anywhere on the grid: 900 for three, 9,000 for four and 90,000 for five at our stake. Slot catalogues list additional free spins among the features, so the round can be extended.

The Card Gamble

After a win, CT’s familiar gamble screen is available. A card lies in the middle with a strip of the 10 previous cards at the top, and you can guess the colour to double the win or the suit to multiply it by four.

Our screenshot shows a win of 420 on the line: the colour gamble offered 840 and the suit gamble 1,680. The card turned up as the 5 of diamonds, the game announced “You win!” and the win box showed 840. A “1/2” counter in the corner tracks the gamble steps.

Thirty Lines And The Middle Reels

Because the lure appears only on the second, third and fourth reels, every line win still needs a matching symbol on the first reel. That makes stacks on reel one especially valuable: the column of three fishing reels in our screenshots could connect with wilds on several of the 30 lines at once. When the first reel is filled with Ks and the middle reels with lures, as in the 1,020 spin, a single symbol type can pay on a large share of the lines.

What The Bet Changes

The values above were recorded at the maximum total bet of 180, spread over 30 lines – 6 per line. At the minimum bet of 0.30 every value is 600 times smaller: five tuna would pay 150, three throttles 0.35 and three Ks 0.05. The 5,000x maximum win ranges from 1,500 at the minimum stake to 900,000 at the maximum.

Medium To High Volatility

At a total bet of 180 our cash balance moved between about 99,100 and 102,100. Base game wins of 210 to 1,020 – about 1.2x to 5.7x the bet – came from the wild stacks and premium symbols, while the 500x tuna prize and the free games hold the bigger potential. The gamble adds an optional extra layer of risk.

Who It Is For

Game for Tuna is for players who like CT Gaming’s straightforward line slots with a fresh theme. The sunny underwater setting is pleasant, the stacked lure wild on the middle reels regularly connects lines, and the tuna scatter offers both a big direct prize and 15 free games. Fans of the red-or-black gamble will feel right at home.
