Theme and Graphics

The base game is played against a field of pale blue crystal facets, cold and glittering, with the cabinet standing in the middle of it in chrome and dark blue. The reel strips are white, so the symbols read like a physical machine rather than a screen.

Note how steep the climb is. Three diamonds pay three times the stake; six pay forty times; eight pay five hundred. Every extra diamond is worth more than all the ones before it.

Nine Positions, Nothing Wasted

★ A 3×3 board has only nine positions, which is what makes the ladder work. On a 5×3 slot a “fill the screen” prize would need fifteen matching symbols and would never be paid; here the top rung is nine, and the third rung is three.

It also means the ladder and the paylines are competing for the same squares. Every diamond that lands is a position not available to a seven or a BAR – so a board can be building toward a huge ladder prize while paying nothing at all on the lines.

What the Lines Pay

The ordinary pay table is almost an afterthought by comparison. At the €100.00 bet, three triple-BAR symbols pay 300.00, three single BARs pay 200.00, and a mixed ANY BAR line pays 60.00.

Sevens arrive with multipliers stamped on them. The captures show a green seven carrying x2 in the base game, and in the free spins a full column of red sevens marked x3 alongside another at x2.

Because the grid is only nine positions, a multiplier seven is never far from the action – there is no dead space for it to land in.
