Golden Expedition Overview

Golden Expedition is a jungle-themed video slot from Inbet, released on 26 September 2024. It plays on a classic 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, and the reels are filled with jungle animals – a tiger, a gorilla, a black panther, a wolf and a fox – alongside four coloured gemstones. The Paytable

The paytable is written for a bet of 20 – one credit on each of the 20 lines – and shows the values for five, four and three of a kind:

Measured against the whole 20-credit bet, five tigers pay 37.5x and three gemstones half the bet. The animals are clearly separated, but the four gems pay alike, so they act as the game's low-paying tier.

Line Bet and Stake

All twenty lines are always active, so the stake is simply twenty times the line bet. The 0.10 minimum works out to half a cent per line, and the 200 maximum to 10 per line. Because the paytable is written for one credit per line, every value in it scales directly: at a 2.00 stake a five-tiger line pays 75, at the 200 maximum it pays 7,500.

Animals Against Gems

The gap between the two tiers is wider than the symbols suggest. A three-tiger line pays four times as much as three gems (40 against 10), and a five-tiger line seven and a half times as much (750 against 100). The fox, the cheapest animal, pays twice as much as a full line of gems. In practice the gems keep the balance ticking over, and the animals – especially with a wild reel in the middle – produce the wins you remember.

The Lotus Wild

The wild is a glowing blue-and-gold lotus flower with the word “Wild” written across it. It replaces all symbols except the scatters, and it also has the best payout of its own: 1,000 for five, 500 for four and 50 for three – 50x the bet for a full line.

The screenshots show that the lotus lands stacked. Several of our spins had entire reels covered in wilds – three full wild reels in one case – and that is where the game's bigger wins come from. With wild reels in place, every line that runs through them only needs matching symbols on the remaining reels.

Scatter and Free Games

The scatter is a golden treasure chest marked “Free Spins”. It appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5, so three is the most you can land. Three scatters pay 40 – 2x the bet – and award 7 free games. The screenshot of the trigger shows the chests on the first and fifth reels behind a stone gateway and the message “Congratulations – you win 7 freegames”.

The 20 Paylines

The payline page draws all twenty patterns on small 5x3 diagrams: the three straight rows, V shapes and inverted Vs, and a set of zig-zag lines that step up and down between the rows. Wins pay left to right, starting from the first reel.

What Our Spins Showed

All screenshots were taken at the 20-credit bet with one credit per line, so the win messages can be checked against the paytable.

A two-line win of 50. Two wilds on the second reel and a scatter chest on the first framed a spin that paid 50, with the status bar reading “Win on 2 lines”. Green gems formed both lines, and 50 matches a four-gem line (40) plus a three-gem line (10) from the paytable.

How Big Can It Get?

Inbet does not publish a maximum win, and SlotCatalog lists none either, so we will not quote one. The paytable does give a sense of scale: a line of five wilds pays 1,000 at a 20 bet, and a screen covered in wilds would pay that on all twenty lines. Graphics and Sound

The reels sit in a dark wooden frame in the middle of a misty rainforest, with palm leaves hanging over the edges and the title in carved gold letters. The animal portraits are detailed and set on stone plaques, the gems glitter, and big wins are celebrated with a shower of gold coins.
