Guardians of Luxor 4 is an Egyptian slot from Red Rake Gaming, released on 12 March 2026 as the fourth game in the series. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 30 paylines, returns 95.4% at medium volatility, and takes bets from 0.30 to 75. The top prize is 1,333x the bet. A winged scarab wild, burning 7s, a pharaoh who fills a whole reel, pyramid bonus symbols, three jackpots, a multiplier wheel and free spins with a multiplier ladder pack a lot into a classic layout.

The Temple Of Luxor

The reels stand in front of a sandy Egyptian temple with carved columns, palm trees and a clear blue sky. Two green sphinx paws rest on either side of the grid, and three jackpot bars run across the top: Minor, Grand and Major. On the left, a tall meter with a golden Anubis head at the top fills with coins and shows a small euro value. During the free spins the meter is replaced by a column of multipliers.

The symbols mix classic slot icons with Egyptian treasures: single, double and triple burning 7s, a glowing phoenix, a red winged scarab, a golden ankh, the Eye of Horus, silver pyramids with purple orbs and a colourful wheel. The wild is a golden winged scarab with a green gem, and a green-skinned pharaoh and a golden-crowned queen appear as tall character symbols.

The Paytable

At a bet of €75 the paytable shows these values for five, four and three of a kind:

Wild – €2,500 / €500 / €75
Triple 7 – €1,250 / €250 / €62.50
Double 7 – €625 / €200 / €50
Single 7 – €500 / €150 / €37.50
Any mixed 7s – €150 / €75 / €25
Glowing phoenix – €250 / €100 / €25
Red scarab, ankh and Eye of Horus – €125 / €50 / €12.50
Any mixed scarabs – €75 / €37.50 / €5

A character symbol in a red medallion pays a flat €75 for three, four or five. The rules add that the wild “substitutes for all symbols except” the special symbols, and that only the highest win on a line is paid.

Mixed 7s And Mixed Scarabs

Like many classic slots, the game rewards near misses with “any mixed” combinations. A line of single, double and triple 7s in any order still pays €25 for three, €75 for four and €150 for five at our stake, and a mix of glowing phoenixes and red scarabs pays €5, €37.50 and €75. Our €75 line win shows how useful that is: the symbols on the line were not all the same, but together with the wild they formed a paying mixed combination of five.

The three different 7s also pay very differently on their own. Five triple 7s are worth €1,250 – more than double five single 7s – so the flaming triple 7 is the symbol to watch on every line.

Wilds And Lines

The 30 lines criss-cross the grid in thin pink lines, with a marker on the edge of each reel. In one of our spins a wild on the second reel joined glowing phoenixes and a red scarab on a line of five for €75 – exactly the five-of-a-kind value for any mixed scarabs. In another, two wilds on the second and third reels joined ankhs and phoenixes on several lines for a spin total of €55.

The Pharaoh Reel

The most striking symbol is the pharaoh. When he lands on the third reel, he fills it from top to bottom as one tall picture, and our screenshots show him appearing to act as a wild for the symbols around him. With burning 7s on the first two reels, the lines through him paid €187.50; with golden ankhs on the first, second and fourth reels, another spin paid €250 – 3.3x the bet in a single spin.

Pyramids And The Jackpots

At €75 the jackpot bars read Minor €750, Major €3,000 and Grand €22,500 – 10x, 40x and 300x the bet. The silver pyramids with purple orbs appear to be the bonus symbols linked to them: in one spin four pyramids landed on the second and third reels and the win showed €150. Slot catalogues describe the feature as a Hold and Win round with sticky and additive symbols, respins and fixed jackpots.

The Multiplier Wheel

The colourful wheel symbol leads to one of the game’s biggest moments. When it appeared on the middle reel, the banner above it announced 10 Free Spins with a x10 marker below. The screen then switched to a giant golden wheel held by the sphinx, with segments of x2, x4, x8 and x20 around a blue centre showing x8. Slot catalogues list a bonus wheel and random multipliers, and the wheel appears to set the multiplier for the feature.

Free Spins With A Multiplier Ladder

During the free spins a ladder of multipliers runs down the left side: x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x16, x25 and x50. In our screenshot the x6 step was lit, green ankhs appeared on the reels in place of the regular golden ones, and the queen symbol landed on the third reel. Collecting the green symbols appears to push the ladder higher, turning later wins into much bigger ones.

The Anubis Meter

The tall meter on the left of the reels, topped by a golden Anubis head, showed different euro values during our base game – €0.11, €0.67 and €0.78 – while small coins gathered at its bottom. Slot catalogues list additive symbols and a Hold and Win round among the features, and the meter appears to build up a value between spins that feeds into the bonus. During the free spins it gives way to the multiplier ladder.

What The Bet Changes

All the values in our screenshots were recorded at the maximum bet of €75, spread over 30 lines – €2.50 per line. At the minimum of €0.30 everything is 250 times smaller: five wilds pay €10 instead of €2,500, and the Grand jackpot, if it keeps its 300x multiple, would be €90. The top prize of 1,333x ranges from about €400 at the minimum stake to almost €100,000 at the maximum.

A Growing Series

Guardians of Luxor has become one of Red Rake’s long-running series. You can compare this edition with Guardians of Luxor 2 and Guardians of Luxor 3. Part 4 keeps the burning 7s and the Egyptian setting, and brings a multiplier wheel and a free spins ladder up to x50.

Who It Is For

Guardians of Luxor 4 is for players who like classic 7s combined with modern Egyptian features. The pharaoh reel and scarab wilds keep the 30 lines busy, the pyramids point to three jackpots, and the wheel and multiplier ladder give the free spins real punch. With medium volatility and a 1,333x ceiling, it is a balanced, feature-packed game.
