How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Hades Power Overview

Hades Power is a Greek mythology slot from Amigo Gaming, released in November 2024. The god of the underworld stands between marble columns on a 5x4 grid with 30 fixed paylines, and he is also the game’s wild. Amigo rates the volatility as medium-low and caps the maximum win at 1,500x the bet. Stakes run from 0.30 to 90 per spin. The feature list on the studio’s page: Expanding Wild, Pile Collector, Free Games, Scatter and Pin Win.

Four Jackpots Beside the Reels

A column of four jackpot plaques runs down the left side of the screen. At a €90 bet they read:

  • Ultra: €90,000 – 1,000x the bet
  • Max: €13,500 – 150x
  • Mid: €4,500 – 50x
  • Min: €2,250 – 25x

The values are fixed multiples of the bet, not progressive pools. The Ultra alone is two thirds of the game’s 1,500x maximum, so the jackpot ladder is where the top of the game lives.

The Paytable

At the same €90 stake, the paytable shows:

  • Hades (wild): 5 = €3,000 (33x), 4 = €750, 3 = €150, 2 = €75
  • Zeus: 5 = €750, 4 = €150, 3 = €45
  • Persephone: 5 = €600, 4 = €120, 3 = €15
  • Pegasus: 5 = €450, 4 = €90, 3 = €15
  • Snake: 5 = €300, 4 = €75, 3 = €15
  • A: 5 = €150, 4 = €30, 3 = €15

Hades pays four times as much as Zeus for five of a kind, and he is the only symbol that pays for two. Three of a kind of every lower symbol pays the same €15 – one sixth of the bet – so the base game is built on many small, equal line wins.

Hades as an Expanding Wild

When Hades lands, he stretches to cover his entire reel, with a WILD banner at his feet. Our screenshots show him on the first, second, third and fourth reels, so he can appear anywhere on the grid. A full reel of wild on a 30-line game completes many lines at once, and two Hades reels side by side do even more.

The screenshots let us check the maths. With one Hades reel, a spin paid €75 on 5 lines and another €45 on 3 lines – each line the €15 for three of a kind. With two Hades reels next to each other, a spin paid €690 on all 30 lines. The best base-game spin we recorded had two Hades reels on the second and fourth positions and paid €1,860 on 8 lines, including a single €600 line – almost 21x the bet from one spin.

Why Two Hades Reels Matter

The difference between one and two expanding wilds is visible in the numbers. One Hades reel turned ordinary spins into €45 and €75 wins – three to five small lines. Two adjacent Hades reels turned a spin into €690 across all 30 lines, and two Hades reels with a single €600 line among eight winners produced the €1,860. Amigo’s own description also says Hades’ “dark magic” multiplies winnings; the screenshots show the result rather than a separate multiplier display.

Zeus and the Line Wins

Zeus is the best regular symbol. One spin showed four Zeus portraits in a block on the lower rows and paid €135 on 3 lines – three times the €45 for three Zeus. On the same spin a purple orb marked €450 sat on the bottom row: these orbs carry cash values in the base game and belong to the Pin Win feature.

The Pile Collector

Above the reels stands a golden cauldron with a purple flame, surrounded by a pile of purple gems. Amigo lists a pile collector among the game’s features, and the cauldron is where it lives on screen. Our screenshots show the pile but not the moment it pays out, so we leave the exact rules to the game’s info screen.

Pin Win Bonus

The Pin Win is announced with a burst of purple smoke and the words “Pin Win Bonus”. The background changes to a burning underworld, three hearts appear above the jackpot ladder as the round’s counter, and the grid fills with purple orbs carrying cash values and red locked positions.

Our board shows orbs worth €810, €1,350, €1,800, €720 and €450, among others, plus golden treasure chests as special symbols. Only a few red positions were left uncovered, and the win meter read €6,570 – about 73x the bet. The balance of €6,595 stayed unchanged during the round, so the meter shows the Pin Win’s own total.

Free Games

Free games are on the studio’s feature list, triggered by scatters, but our screenshots do not include that round. What they do show is that Hades as an expanding wild and the Pin Win orbs are the two sources of the game’s bigger wins.

Stakes and Lines

All 30 lines are always active, so the stake is the total bet, from €0.30 to €90. The paylines screen shows them as small diagrams on the four-row grid: straight rows, V shapes, steps and zig-zags that use all four rows. Because every value in the paytable and on the jackpot plaques is a multiple of the bet, the game reads the same at any stake – at the minimum the Ultra is worth €300, at the maximum €90,000.

Our Session in Numbers

We played at the €90 maximum, and the balance at the bottom left traces the session. It moved between €9,460 and €9,175 on small line wins, climbed to €12,040 after a good run, and slipped to €7,855 and then €6,595 before the Pin Win started. On the spin that paid €1,860 with two Hades reels, the balance read €18,535, the high point of our session. Going from a balance of about 73 bets to more than 200 bets shows that even a medium-low volatility game can move quickly when the expanding wild and the Pin Win land in the same session.

Graphics and Setting

The base game sits in front of a Greek temple, with white marble caryatids on both sides and golden clouds behind. Hades himself is drawn with blue skin, a crown and red robes, and he glows with dark energy when he expands. The Pin Win moves the action to a volcanic underworld with red rock and lava. The paylines screen shows all 30 lines as small diagrams, and the paytable is laid out in clear columns.

Who It Is For

Hades Power is for players who like a steady line game with one strong wild. The medium-low volatility and the flat €15 three-of-a-kind values keep the base game ticking over, while the expanding Hades and the Pin Win give it something to aim for. The jackpot ladder tops out at 1,000x and the game at 1,500x, so it is a moderate slot rather than a high-risk one. All six casinos we checked carry it.
