Stone Age Volcano

The reels are carved into a golden stone temple, with a volcano erupting behind them and thick jungle leaves on both sides. Purple and red crystals poke out of the rocks, and a baby dinosaur peeks up from behind the bottom edge of the reels. The Hot Rocket 5x3x2x logo sits in the top-left corner, and the bottom bar shows the balance, total bet and total win.

The reels spin like an old stepper machine: symbols and blank spaces alternate, so a BAR can land on the line or just above or below it. The symbol set is small – single, double and triple BARs, a red seven, a flaming seven, a Wild, and multiplier versions of the BARs.

Nine Lines On Three Reels

The lines screen shows the nine patterns. Line 1 is the middle row, lines 2 and 3 are the top and bottom rows, lines 4 and 5 are the V and the inverted V, and lines 6 to 9 are zigzags. With nine lines on a 3x3 view, all three rows and both diagonals pay, plus four zigzags, so a win is not limited to the middle row as on a single-line classic.

The BAR Paytable

The paytable page we captured, at a total bet of 25, lists the BARs: three triple BARs pay 75 (3x), three double BARs 50 (2x), three single BARs 25 (1x) and any mixed BARs 5 (0.2x). The sevens and the Wild are listed on the other paytable pages.

That “any mixed” line matters: single, double and triple BARs appear all over the reels in our screenshots, so combinations of different BARs are easy to land, even if each one only returns a fifth of the bet on its own.

5x, 3x And 2x

The name comes from the multiplier symbols. BARs can land with a 2x, 3x or 5x tag attached, and the Wild appears with a 2x tag too. These tags are what turn the small BAR pays into real wins.

Our screenshots show what that does to small BAR hits. One spin with 3x, 2x and 5x BARs spread across the reels pays 15; another with 5x and 3x BARs pays 100, four times the bet. The flaming sevens are the other big symbol. In one screenshot they fill the left reel, the middle reel and the right reel at different heights, with a 3x BAR tucked in below – and silver coins fly out of the reels as a 100 win is added up.

The Jackpot Ladder

Above the reels, next to the volcano, is a ladder of five prizes, each marked with a rocket icon. At a bet of 25 it reads MAX 25,000, then 5,000, 2,500, 1,250 and 625 – that is 1,000x, 200x, 100x, 50x and 25x the bet.
