A Food Truck In The City

The reels are the serving hatch of a street food truck parked in front of brick apartment blocks, with menus stuck to the sides and ketchup and mustard bottles on the counter. On the roof sit the three stars of the show: a blue hog, a yellow hog and a red hog, each with a big grin and a label underneath – Royals Removed, Jackpots and Sticky Wilds.

The art style is loud and comic. The high symbols are panicked customers and vendors – a chef with a tray, a hot dog seller, a man with glasses and a sweaty guy in a cap – plus plates of burgers and fries and a tray of doughnuts and ice cream. The low symbols are slimy 10, J, Q, K and A letters that look like they are melting. Balance, win and bet sit in chunky panels along the bottom.

Food Tokens And The Three Hogs

Some symbols land inside a glowing blue, yellow or red frame. The colours match the three hogs, and Rival’s own summary of the game is “collect Food Tokens, trigger bonus rounds” – the framed symbols appear to be those tokens. Each hog’s label names the feature it is tied to.

The blue hog’s label says Royals Removed, which points to the melting letters being taken off the reels so that only characters and food are left. The yellow hog is linked to the jackpots. The red hog brings sticky Wilds. Our screenshots show the hogs changing as the session goes on – in one of them the red hog has picked up something extra on its head.

Five Jackpots
