Joker Flare is a retro fruit slot from Spinomenal, released on 23 April 2026 as part of the studio’s Classics range. A Joker In Purple And Gold

The game has a clean, casino-floor look. The reels sit in a thick gold frame on a purple background covered in a pattern of small diamonds, and the “Joker Flare” logo glows at the top in gold and pink letters on a dark plaque. A small badge in the top right corner shows the number of lines – 25.

The symbols are the fruit machine favourites. The top four are a red lucky 7, a sparkling blue diamond, a golden bell and a blue BAR. Instead of three rows, Joker Flare has four, and instead of five or ten lines it has 25. The fourth row gives every reel an extra position, so symbols line up on more lines at once, and a group of the same fruit spread across the first three reels can pay several times in a single spin.

The per line control is worth understanding before you play. The number you choose is the stake on each of the 25 lines, so a setting of 2 means a total bet of 50 credits. Raising it by one step raises the total bet by 25 at once, so small changes on the selector make a noticeable difference.

The Joker Wild

The joker is the star of the game. He is a grinning court jester in a purple and gold harlequin costume and a matching hat with bells, and he does not land as a single symbol – he appears as a tall wild that covers the whole reel, with WILD written in gold at his feet.

That makes a big difference with 25 lines on a four-row grid. In one of our spins the joker filled the fifth reel next to rows of BAR symbols, and the win was 180. In another he covered both the first and the second reel, and with a watermelon on the third reel completing a line the spin paid 860 – 17.2x the bet. Even a partly visible joker on the first reel helped a group of cherries pay 140.

The Paytable

The 7 is clearly the symbol to watch: five of them pay five times more than four, and 25 times more than five watermelons. The low fruits pay small amounts, but on a 5x4 grid with 25 lines they often pay on several lines at once. In our screenshots, a block of watermelons on the first three reels paid 180, and a group of oranges with two diamonds paid 90.

The Star Bonus

Three golden BONUS stars on the third, fourth and fifth reels triggered the bonus in our session. The screen then changes into a grid of purple tiles decorated with club symbols, and a tall golden multiplier ladder appears on the left: x3, x6, x9, x12, x15, x20, x50, x100, x200 and x500. Three numbered tabs at the top of the grid mark the stages of the round.

Stars land on the tiles and push the marker up the ladder. With five stars on the grid the marker sat at x3; a few moments later it had climbed to x6, and the round paid 300 – exactly 6 times the bet of 50. The ladder multiplies your total bet, so the x500 at the top is worth a quarter of the 2,000x maximum on its own.

The ladder is not evenly spaced. The first steps climb by three at a time – x3, x6, x9, x12, x15 – so every extra star adds a similar amount. After x20 the steps grow much bigger: x50, x100, x200 and finally x500. That means the bonus usually pays a modest amount, as ours did at x6, but a round that keeps collecting stars can suddenly become very valuable. The joker changed that: with one full reel of wilds a spin reached 180, and with two full reels it reached 860. The star bonus paid 300, or 6x, at a low rung of the ladder.

None of these are huge wins, but they come regularly, and the balance never fell far between them. The 2,000x maximum is reserved for spins where jokers cover several reels next to high symbols such as 7s and diamonds, or for a bonus that climbs to the top rungs of the ladder.
