The theme is the kitsune of Japanese legend – the fox spirit who can take human form. She appears here as a dark-haired woman with fox ears and a fur collar, a stacked symbol that only shows up in the free spins. The Paytable

Above them all sits the wild. Any five wilds on a winning line pay 2,000x the line bet – twice the value of the mask, and the single biggest number in the game’s rules.

It is worth doing the conversion once. With 25 lines, a line bet is one twenty-fifth of the stake, so five masks on a single line return 40x the total bet, and a line of five wilds returns 80x. Reaching the published 2,000x ceiling therefore takes many paying lines landing together rather than one lucky line.

The lines themselves are fixed at 25 and cannot be switched off. The per-line control at the bottom of the screen is simply how the game sets the stake, and every winning line on a spin is added to the total.

Synced Reels

The mechanic that defines the base game is simple to describe. On every spin, two random reels are synced: they land identical to each other, symbol for symbol.

Because a winning line only needs matching symbols from left to right, a copied reel is a real help. Two identical columns turn a stray symbol into a doubled one, and the game highlights the pair with a glowing frame so you can see which reels were chosen.

The royals do respectable work on their own. In our base game a spread of Qs across the grid paid 500, twice the 250 bet, and a spin where the Ks ran across the first three reels paid 450.

Expanding Wilds

The wild adds a second layer on top of the synced reels. When a wild lands on one of the synced reels, it expands to fill that entire reel – and since the two reels are identical, the same happens on its twin.

The result is two full columns of wilds at once, which is the quickest route to a large line win in the base game. It is also the only way to line up the five-wild combination worth 2,000x the line bet.

Free Spins and the Gamble

Once the free spins are triggered, and before the round begins, the game offers a gamble on its length, with a ladder of 15, 20, 30 and 50 free spins shown across the top of the screen.

The choice is laid out on two silver and gold fox coins. In our session the first offer was to collect 10 free spins or gamble for 15, with the silver coin showing 5 spins as the losing result. After a win the next step was to collect 15 or risk them for 20, with 10 as the fallback.

The ladder also shows the fallback for each step. Under the 15 sits a 5, and under the 20, 30 and 50 sits a 10, so once you are past the first rung a failed gamble always leaves you with ten free spins – the same number the first offer would have paid.

The rules explain the stakes clearly. A successful gamble awards the higher amount and you can gamble again; reaching 50 free spins ends the ladder. An unsuccessful gamble does not wipe the round out – you keep the smaller number printed on the losing coin, and the gamble stops there.
