Locked Hearts 5 is a romantic fruit slot from Fazi, released on 9 April 2026. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 5 fixed paylines, returns 96.57% at high volatility, and takes bets from 0.10 to 50. The top prize is 4,000x the bet. An expanding heart wild, padlocked heart scatters that unlock up to 20 free spins, three progressive jackpots, a bonus buy and a card gamble give a five-line classic a lot of extra power.

Hearts, Padlocks And Red Velvet

The game is all about love. The reels sit in a slim frame of red and gold on a deep red background scattered with little hearts, and the “Locked Hearts 5” logo in gold and cream sits in the top left corner. During free spins the whole screen turns warm gold, with golden padlocks shaped like hearts floating at the sides.

The symbols are fruit machine classics: a red lucky 7, grapes, a golden bell, a watermelon, and cherries, lemons, plums and oranges. The wild is a shiny red heart marked WILD, and the bonus symbol is a golden padlock heart with a key and a red BONUS banner. Winning symbols burst into flames, and a thin gold line traces the winning payline.

Three Progressive Jackpots

Above the reels run three jackpot bars: Gold, Diamond and Platinum. Their values grew during our session – the Gold Jackpot rose from 7,378.79 to 7,420.77, the Diamond from 9,751.70 to 9,811.67 and the Platinum from 5,750.59 to 5,810.56 – so they are progressive and keep climbing as the game is played.

The Paytable

At a bet of 50 the paytable shows:

Lucky 7 – 20,000 for five, 2,000 for four, 500 for three, 100 for two
Grapes and bell – 5,000 / 1,000 / 300
Watermelon – 2,000 / 400 / 200
Cherries, lemon, plum and orange – 1,500 / 300 / 100

Five 7s on a line are worth 400x the bet – ten times more than four. Even the lowest fruits pay 30x for five, which is generous for a five-line game.

The Expanding Heart Wild

The heart wild expands to fill its whole reel, as the paytable shows with a small picture of a single heart turning into a column of three. In our base game screenshots it stretched over the third reel several times. With the wild in place, three plums across the grid paid 100, and oranges completed by the wild paid 300, 6x the bet. Without a wild, three oranges along the bottom row paid the same 100.

Why A Wild Middle Reel Is So Strong

Every one of the five paylines passes through the third reel, so when the heart wild fills that reel, it is part of every line at once. A line then only needs matching symbols on the first two reels to make three of a kind, and a fourth on the next reel for the higher prize. That is why a single expanded wild in the middle can turn two or three ordinary fruits into several paying lines in the same spin.

Locked Hearts Free Spins

The padlock hearts are scatters. The paytable lists 10 free spins for three, 15 for four and 20 for five. In our trigger spin three padlocks landed on the first, second and fifth reels, and the game announced the Bonus Game.

During the free spins the expanded wild becomes much more valuable, because our screenshots show it staying in place: with 4 free spins left and again with 0 left, the same full wild reel stood on the third reel. With the wild locked, bells on two lines paid 2 × 300 = 600, and later cherries on two lines of four paid another 2 × 300 = 600, bringing the round to 1,200 – 24x the bet.

What A Sticky Wild Reel Is Worth

A wild reel that stays for the rest of the free spins changes the maths of every remaining spin. With the third reel already wild, all five lines are half complete before the reels even stop, and the round becomes a hunt for pairs on the first two reels. Our round shows the effect: two separate 600 wins in the last spins, both made from ordinary fruit and bells. A round of 20 free spins from five scatters would give the locked wild even more time to work.

Bonus Buy And Gamble

A Buy Bonus button in the top right corner leads straight to the free spins, and a small coin-stack badge with x2 sits on the left of the reels. After any win you can also try the card gamble: choose a black club or a red heart, and a correct guess doubles the win. In our screenshot the current win was 200, the gamble would double it to 400, and the card shown was the ace of spades, with the last cards drawn displayed at the top.

High Volatility On Five Lines

Five lines usually mean a gentle game, but Locked Hearts 5 is rated high volatility, and the paytable explains why: four 7s pay 2,000 but five pay 20,000, and the free spins with a sticky wild reel are where most of the value sits. Base game wins in our session were mostly 100 to 300 at a bet of 50, while the cash balance moved between about 495,900 and 499,200.

How Progressive Jackpots Differ

Unlike fixed jackpots that are a set multiple of the bet, the Gold, Diamond and Platinum jackpots are shown as exact amounts with decimals, and those amounts rose steadily while we played. The rules screen explains how they are won; what the bars show at a glance is that each of them is already worth well over a hundred times our bet of 50, and that they keep growing until someone lands them.

Who It Is For

Locked Hearts 5 suits players who like classic fruit symbols but want features with real potential: an expanding wild that sticks during free spins, three progressive jackpots and up to 20 free spins. The romantic theme is a nice change from the usual fire-and-gold look, and the 96.57% RTP is strong.
