Locky Fruits: Hold the Spin is a fruit machine with a coin bonus from Gamzix, released on 7 March 2024. The Four Jackpots

Four plaques above the reels show the jackpots in cash, and at a bet of 25 they read:

The Platinum jackpot on its own is 5,000x, almost the whole of the published 5,200x maximum – so the top prize in this game is, in practice, the Platinum plaque plus a good board around it.

Jackpots That Follow the Bet

The plaques are shown in cash, but they are fixed multiples of the stake, so they change with every bet adjustment. At the minimum bet of 0.25 the Bronze jackpot is worth 5 and the Platinum 1,250; at the maximum of 25 they are the 500 and 125,000 shown in our screenshots. The ratio between them never changes: Silver is two and a half Bronzes, Gold three Silvers, and Platinum a huge step above everything else.

The Burning Seven

The wild is a red seven wrapped in flames with the word WILD across it, and in our screenshots it never came alone. Whole reels of burning sevens appeared on the first and third reels at once, and in another spin a row of them lit up across reels two to four. When two full wild reels land together, most of the 25 lines pass through both, which is where the base game’s bigger wins come from.

What Our Base Game Showed

All four base-game wins in the screenshots were at a bet of 25:

• Wild reels one and three, with plums and lemons between them: 175.00 – 7x the bet.
• The same two wild reels with oranges and grapes: 115.00 – 4.6x.
• Three wild sevens along the bottom rows with lemons: 80.00 – 3.2x.
• A full wild first reel with stars and lemons: 65.00 – 2.6x.

The pattern is clear: the wilds carry the base game, and without them the fruit symbols alone pay little.

Coins in the Base Game

Gold coins with cash values can land on the reels during normal play. In one of our spins a 100.00 coin sat on the second reel next to the wilds; in another, coins worth 25, 75, 100 and 175 landed together – and that was enough to start the bonus.

Locky Respins

When the coins line up, a green screen announces “Congratulation! You won 4 Locky Respins”. The game then clears the fruit symbols and keeps only the coins on the grid. From there it is the familiar Hold the Spin logic: new coins that land stay in place, the respin counter on the right side of the screen counts down, and the round ends when the counter runs out or the grid is full.

Our Bonus Round

Our round finished with 15 of the 20 positions covered in coins, and the counter at 0 respins. The coins on the final board were worth 75, 100, 75, 75, 50, 100, 25, 100, 75, 100, 125, 175, 200, 275 and 75. Added together they make exactly 1,625.00 – the figure shown on the “Bonus Game Win” screen that closed the round. At a bet of 25 that is 65 times the stake.

The individual coins ranged from 25 (1x the bet) to 275 (11x), so the value of the round comes from the number of coins rather than from any single big one. None of the four jackpots appeared in our round.

For comparison, our 1,625.00 was worth more than three Bronze jackpots and a little more than a Silver one, but well short of the Gold plaque’s 3,750.
