Lotus Jungle Gems Overview

Lotus Jungle Gems is a five-reel, four-row video slot from Inbet with 100 fixed paylines, an expanding wild and two different scatter symbols. It was released on 26 September 2024, the same day as its sister game Jungle Rush, and some catalogues list it under the ABXplay label.

The Jungle, Repainted

Lotus Jungle Gems shares its setting with Jungle Rush: the same dark rainforest behind the reels, the same palm fronds hanging over the frame, and much of the same cast of animal portraits and cut gemstones.

The premium symbols are a tiger, a black panther, a grey wolf and a red fox. The gems come in red, purple, amber and blue, and the blue lotus returns as the wild.

What is new is the pair of scatters: a golden castle with the word Scatter across its base, and an overflowing treasure chest that works as a second scatter with its own rules. The logo at the top gains a small lotus flower at each end.

One Hundred Fixed Lines

The biggest structural difference from Jungle Rush is the line count. Lotus Jungle Gems plays on 100 lines, all of them always active – there is no LINES selector next to the bet, only the BET box itself.

The line patterns are drawn out across the rule pages, fifty to a screen. Catalogue data puts the stake range at 0.20 to 200 per spin.

With a hundred lines on a 5x4 grid, almost every symbol takes part in several lines at once, and the message bar regularly reports wins on dozens of them: “Win on 24 lines”, “Win on 37 lines”, and once “Win on 100 lines”.

The Paytable

At the 20 bet, the paytable lists these prizes:

Tiger – 1,000 for five, 150 for four, 15 for three and 2 for two. The tiger is the only symbol that pays for a pair.

Panther and wolf – 200, 50 and 10 each. Fox – 80, 20 and 5. All four gems – red, purple, amber and blue – share the same values: 20, 5 and 2.

That is a steep table. Five tigers pay five times as much as five panthers, and the gems at the bottom return only a tenth of the stake for three of a kind – though on a hundred lines they rarely land on just one.

The two-tiger prize is small – just 2 at the 20 bet – but with a hundred lines running, a pair of tigers on the first two reels can sit on several lines at once, so it turns up in the win bar more often than its size suggests.

The Expanding Lotus Wild

The lotus wild substitutes for all symbols except the scatters and appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.

Its special rule is written plainly in the paytable: the wild expands to cover the whole reel, but only when doing so completes a winning combination. On the biggest spin in our session, lotuses covered the second and third reels and the game paid on all 100 lines at once.

Two Kinds of Scatter

The castle scatter pays 60 for three, 400 for four and 2,000 for five – the last being 100 times the 20 bet and the largest single prize in the table.

The chest scatter is more limited. It appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5, so three is the most you can collect, and three chests pay 400, or 20 times the bet.

We found no free spins in this game, and the catalogue feature list names none – the scatters simply pay cash.

The two scatters also compare in an interesting way. Three chests pay 400, while three castles pay only 60; the castle only draws level at four, where both are worth 400, and pulls ahead at five, where it pays 2,000. For a small number of scatters, the chest is by far the better symbol to see.

What the Session Paid

At the 60 bet, our line wins ranged from 144 on 24 lines and 192 on 14 lines to 258 on 37 lines.

The best base-game result was the full-board spin: lotuses filling reels two and three, red gems down the right-hand side, and 1,032 paid across all 100 lines – a little over 17 times the stake.

At the 20 bet, three chests landed on reels one, three and five and paid exactly the listed 400.

Who Should Play It

Lotus Jungle Gems suits players who like busy boards and frequent line hits. A hundred fixed lines and an expanding wild keep the reels active, and the two scatters add cash prizes that do not depend on lines at all.

The trade-offs are clear. There is no bonus round, the gem symbols pay very little, and without a published RTP or maximum win the paytable is the only guide to what the game can return.
