Love at Night Overview

Love at Night is a romantic video slot from Inbet, released on 22 March 2023 according to Inbet’s own game catalogue. It runs on a classic 5x3 grid with 30 fixed paylines, set against a violet night sky with a full moon behind the reels. Cupid is the wild, a free-spins scatter lands on the middle reels, and every win can be taken into a double-or-nothing gamble. Stakes run from 0.10 to 300 per spin. Cupid, the Wild

The winged cupid with his bow “replaces all symbols, except the scatters”, as the paytable puts it. On the reels he often arrives in stacks, two or three high, which is where most of the bigger wins in our session came from: a stacked cupid on the first two reels touches a large share of the thirty lines at once.

Free Spins

The scatter is a pink heart with the words “Free Spins”, and it only “appears on 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels”. The rule is unusual: it takes 7 to 9 scatters to trigger the bonus, which awards 7 to 30 free games. With the scatter restricted to three reels, nine scatters means the whole middle of the grid filled with hearts.

What Our Spins Showed

We played the demo at a stake of 30, and the win messages let us check the paytable.

A spin with two cupids at the top of the first two reels and three roses stacked on reels 2 and 3 paid 72 on 8 lines. A block of four cupids on the first two reels produced 130 on 13 lines.

The cleanest example was a win on all 30 lines. A full reel of golden harps on reel one met a full reel of cupids on reel two, so every single line started with a harp and a wild. Two harps pay 5 coins, and thirty lines of 5 is exactly the 150 the game displayed – five times the stake from the smallest win in the paytable.

The 30 Paylines

The payline screen shows the full set of thirty patterns: the three straight rows, V shapes, zig-zags and stepped lines that cross the grid. All thirty are always active, and wins are paid from left to right.

The Gamble Option

Inbet’s catalogue lists a gamble feature for Love at Night, and SlotCatalog describes it as a “double” game: after a win you can risk it to double it, or collect.

Graphics and Setting

The reels float in a starry violet sky with a giant pale moon behind the middle reel. The symbols are soft and rounded: a golden lyre with a heart, a red rose under a glass dome, an open ring box, a winged envelope sealed with a heart, and chubby card letters in pastel colours. The balance, lines and bet buttons sit in a pink-and-gold strip under the reels, with a heart-shaped spin button.
