How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Love Letter Overview

Love Letter is a romance-themed video slot from Eurasian Gaming, released on 7 February 2024. It plays on a classic 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, and the whole game is drawn in an anime style: a sheet of notepaper taped to a window, cherry blossom trees outside and a pink quill pen resting on the left of the reels. SlotCatalog rates the volatility as medium and lists stakes from 0.10 to 20 per spin. Eurasian Gaming does not publish an RTP or a maximum win for this title, and the studio’s own demo page is not available for embedding, so there is no free demo on this page.

The Symbols

The premium symbols are round, lace-framed portraits of the characters – a dark-haired girl with a headband, a pink-haired girl and a brown-haired girl – together with a heart-shaped box of chocolates. The lower wins come from the royals A, K, Q, J and 10, drawn in a handwritten, pastel style.

Two special symbols complete the set. The WILD is a sealed love letter in a golden frame, and the BONUS symbol is a strawberry cake.

How the Bet Works

The stake is set per line rather than per spin. The Bet Per Line control at the bottom left moves in small steps, and the Total Bet next to the balance is always ten times that value, because all 10 lines are played on every spin. At 0.10 per line a spin costs 1.00; at 0.20 it costs 2.00. The paytable values follow the line bet, so every win in the list above can be read as a multiple of it.

What Our Spins Showed

We played with a bet of 0.20 per line, which is 2.00 per spin across the 10 lines, and later with 0.10 per line (1.00 per spin). The win messages under the reels let us follow each payout:

  • Four chocolate boxes on a line paid 8.00 – four times the 2.00 stake.
  • Three portraits with the help of love-letter wilds paid 4.00.
  • Three dark-haired girls paid 3.00.
  • At 0.10 per line, three As paid 1.00 – ten times the line bet.

The chocolate box is clearly one of the stronger symbols: four of them returned four times the total bet on a single line.

Free Spins

The free spins are triggered by the strawberry-cake BONUS symbols. In our screenshot three of them landed on reels 1, 3 and 5, the game announced “Congratulations, you won free spins!”, and the trigger itself paid 2.00 on a 1.00 stake – twice the bet before the free spins even began. SlotCatalog lists additional free spins, expanding symbols and a 3x3 mega symbol among the features.

Power Play: Buy Bonus and Fast-Play

A pink Buy Feature button sits to the right of the reels, and it opens Eurasian Gaming’s Power Play menu with two options:

  • Buy-Bonus Feature: 54.00 at a 1.00 stake – 54x the bet. The button showed 108.00 at the 2.00 stake, so the price scales exactly with the bet.
  • Fast-Play Feature: plays a set number of rounds automatically (the counter was set to 90) and shows the result straight away. It stops if a bonus is triggered, so you can play the bonus yourself.

Graphics and Sound

Love Letter looks more like a visual novel than a slot. The portraits are dimmed when they are not part of a win and light up when they pay, the reels sit on lined paper held down by tape, and a pink ribbon and hearts decorate the frame. The Love Letter logo in the top left corner is written in bubbly pastel letters.

Who It Is For

Love Letter suits players who enjoy anime artwork and a simple, readable slot: ten lines, a handful of premium symbols, a wild and a free spins round. The 54x bonus buy and the Fast-Play option give some control over the pace. The missing RTP figure is the main drawback – if that matters to you, check the game information panel at your casino before playing.
