Mad Hit Ho Ho Hot Pudding is a Christmas entry in Ruby Play’s Mad Hit series, released on 28 November 2025. It runs on a 3x3 grid, returns 96.3% at medium volatility and carries four jackpots. A Village In The Snow

The grid stands in a Christmas village at night: gingerbread-coloured houses with lit windows on the right, a decorated fir on the left, a top-hatted snowman beside it and violet snow falling across the whole scene. The frame is wrapped in candy-cane stripes with holly at the corners, and the Mad Hit Ho Ho Hot Pudding logo sits on the top rail with Santa perched on it.

The symbols are all baking: a candy cane, a green cupcake, a gingerbread man, a lattice pie, a cookie, a brown muffin, a snowman and a pair of macarons.

One Column, Eight Rows

Because the board is three by three, no symbol can appear more than three times in a line. The paytable reflects that with a single 3x column. At the €10.00 total bet our session ran at:

The Mad Hit Diamond

One symbol is not food. A blue diamond stamped MAD HIT lands among the cakes, wrapped in electric arcs, and it is the series’ signature – the symbol that starts the hold-and-win round.

When it does, the board changes completely. The baking disappears and the nine positions become dark blue tiles with snowflakes on them, waiting to be filled. A counter under the grid shows 1 2 3 – three respins, resetting whenever something new sticks.

Coins Worth One To Sixty-Four Times The Bet

The values that land on those tiles cover an unusually wide range. Ours read 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 330 and 640 – against the €10 stake, between 1x and 64x apiece.

A single 640 coin is worth more than twice the best symbol combination on the paytable and more than the Mini jackpot. That is the whole argument for the round: the base game tops out at 30x, and one good coin beats it twice over.

A 3x3 board is small enough that filling it completely is genuinely achievable, unlike the 5x4 grids where a full board is effectively fiction. But the ceiling of any round is nine coins, so it cannot run away with itself.

That is exactly why the jackpot plaques matter here. With nine positions and coins mostly in the tens, the Grand at 1,000x is not reachable by collection alone; it has to be awarded. The coins fill the round, the plaques decide it.

The return is around average and the medium rating is honest for a game this compact.
