Nile Treasures Deluxe Overview

Nile Treasures Deluxe is a five-reel, three-row slot from Triple Cherry with 25 paylines. The published RTP is 90.2%, with other RTP versions available to operators, the volatility is rated medium-high and the maximum win is 3,783x the stake. It was released on 7 October 2024, and bets run from $0.30 to $20 per spin.

The game has three things to watch: a Tutankhamun mask that works as the wild, Cleopatra bonus symbols that trigger free spins, and a buy option that takes you straight into the feature. The figures below come from our demo session, played at a €10 bet.

Pharaohs, Scarabs and a Pyramid at Night

The reels stand in front of a pyramid under a dark, cloudy sky, framed by a glowing border of turquoise and pink. The setting is the Egypt of Ramses the Great, and the symbols are the ones you would expect from a tomb: winged scarabs, a golden falcon figure, a coiled golden snake ring, a pyramid, the Eye of Horus, the ankh and a black cat statue.

The bonus symbol is a portrait of Cleopatra with a red BONUS banner, and the wild is the golden mask of Tutankhamun marked WILD. When the free spins start, the background changes to the inside of a temple, and the frame turns bright turquoise.

The controls are simple: a BONUS button for the buy feature, autoplay, a large spin button, a MAX button and the bet arrows, with the prize, bet and balance along the bottom.

The Prize Table

The prize table prints its values in euros for the current bet, and wins pay from left to right starting on the leftmost reel. At the €10 bet the premium symbols read as follows:

The turquoise winged scarab tops the table with €360 for five, €120 for four and €40 for three. The golden falcon figure pays €270, €90 and €30, and the green winged scarab €180, €60 and €20.

The golden snake ring pays €90, €30 and €10. Below it the pyramid and the Eye of Horus both pay €20, €6 and €3, and the ankh and the cat close the table with €16, €4 and €2.

The wild is worth more than any regular symbol: five Tutankhamun masks pay €600, four pay €300 and three €100. The wild substitutes for every other symbol except the bonus symbol.

The first screenshot shows a typical base-game result: golden snake rings on the first two reels combined into a €20 win, 2x the stake.

The Table in Multiples of the Stake

Converted to multiples of the €10 bet, five turquoise scarabs are worth 36x, five golden falcons 27x, five green scarabs 18x and five snake rings 9x. The pyramid and the Eye of Horus reach only 2x for five, and the ankh and the cat 1.6x.

The wild is the real prize of the table: five masks pay 60x on a single line. Three of the lowest symbols pay just 0.2x, so most base-game spins return small amounts, and a screen needs several lines or wilds to become interesting.

How the Free Spins Start

Three Cleopatra BONUS symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins. In our session they landed on reels two, three and four, and the game announced “You won 8 free spins!” in front of the pyramid.

Two Cleopatras also landed on the €20 spin, which shows that two bonus symbols are not enough: the third one is needed to start the round.

Stacked Wilds in the Free Spins

The free spins are where the Tutankhamun wild comes into its own. In our round the masks landed in full stacks: one screen showed complete columns of wilds on reels one, four and five and a partial stack on reel two, with six free spins still to go.

With whole reels covered, a single regular symbol on the remaining reels can complete several lines at once. A spin with golden cats and falcon figures on the first two reels and a mask on the third paid €32, and the next big screen, with masks on reels two and four and Eyes of Horus in the middle row, paid €52.

A counter at the bottom tracks the remaining spins and the total prize of the round. After eight spins our round finished at €466, which is 46.6x the €10 bet. Before the last three spins the total already stood at €434.

Buying the Feature

The BONUS button opens a Free Spins Phase screen that offers “immediate access to the BONUS feature”. At the €10 bet it offered 8 spins for €622, which is 62.2x the stake, deducted from the balance when you press Start.

The comparison with our natural round is useful. The eight free spins we triggered paid €466, which is less than the buy price, so a bought round can easily return less than it costs. The buy is a way to reach the feature faster, not a guaranteed profit.

RTP, Volatility and the Maximum Win

A 90.2% return is well below the usual 96%, and SlotCatalog notes that the game comes with an RTP range, so the version at a given casino may differ. It is worth checking the rules page of the game before playing for real money.

The medium-high volatility fits what we saw: the base game paid small amounts like €20, while the real value came from the stacked wilds in the free spins.

The published 3,783x maximum is far above anything the regular table can pay on its own, so it can only be reached in the feature, with several reels full of wilds. SlotCatalog also lists a bonus wheel and a multiplier among the features, but neither appeared in our screenshots.

Who Should Play It

Nile Treasures Deluxe suits players who like classic Egyptian slots with a clear, readable table and a free spins round built around stacked wilds. The buy option is there for those who do not want to wait for three Cleopatras.

The low published RTP is the main drawback, so it is a game to enjoy for its feature rather than one to choose for its long-term return.
