Olympus Gods Overview

Olympus Gods is a Greek mythology slot from KA Gaming, released on 21 February 2024. It uses an unusual diamond-shaped layout – 2-3-3-3-2 symbols across five reels – which gives 108 ways to win, shown on the two golden columns either side of the reels. SlotCatalog lists a 90% RTP (the game is offered in several RTP versions) and stakes from 0.50 to 2,000 per spin. KA Gaming does not publish a volatility rating or a maximum win for this title.

A Temple Above the Clouds

The reels are set inside a Greek temple: a red pediment on top, marble columns wrapped in gold at the sides, and white clouds drifting behind a colonnade. Golden eagles stand guard at the edges of the screen. A panel above the reels keeps a running total of the current win, and a purple box on the top right shows the active multiplier.

The Symbols

The premium symbols are ancient Greek objects on round bronze shields:

The low symbols are the card royals A, K, Q, J and 10 in red, gold, green, purple and blue.

108 Ways Instead of Paylines

There are no fixed lines. A win needs matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, in any position. Because the outer reels hold only two symbols and the middle three hold three each, the count comes to 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 2 = 108 ways. The narrow outer reels make a full five-reel combination a little harder to land than on a normal 3-high grid, and the middle reels do most of the work.

Nudging Wilds and the Multiplier

The wild is Poseidon himself, a stacked figure that covers a whole reel with a blue-and-gold WILD banner at the bottom. According to the game description, the wild nudges into full view and brings a progressive multiplier with it. Our screenshots show exactly that: Poseidon filling reel two with an X2 badge at the top and bottom, and the multiplier box on the right also showing X2.

The win panel confirms the effect. On one spin it read “WINS $1200.00 (2X)”, and the total for the spin was $4,200. On another it read “WINS $1800.00 (2X)”. The multiplier is written next to the win itself, so it is always clear when it has been applied.

Free Games

The game description says the progressive multiplier stays active during the Free Games, so a multiplier built up by the nudging wild carries into the bonus. SlotCatalog lists Free Spins, scatter symbols, stacked symbols and the nudge feature among the game’s features. What Our Spins Showed

We played the demo at a total bet of $1,000, and the wins line up well with the layout:

• $800 – 0.8x – three Spartan helmets on adjacent reels.

The last one shows the strength of the ways system with stacked symbols. The three middle reels were full of Ks, and the first reel added two more, so the same low symbol paid on dozens of ways at once. A symbol worth little on its own became a 9x win because it filled the whole centre of the grid.

Controls

The control bar is simple. The total bet sits in the middle, with a NEW BET button to change it and a MAX BET button to jump straight to the top stake. The spin button in the centre doubles as autoplay: its label reads “hold for autospin”. The current win and the balance are shown on either side, and a small info button opens the rules. The panel above the reels repeats the running win for the spin, including the multiplier when one is active.

Stacks Are the Key

Stacked symbols are what make Olympus Gods tick. The Ks in our big win and the full-reel Poseidon wild both come in stacks, and on a 108-ways grid a stack on the middle reels multiplies the number of winning combinations. The best spins in our session all had a stack in the centre; the small ones came from scattered single symbols.
